I own a small auto body shop in south Fremont. We've been at the same location for over 44 years so as you can imagine there's some things around here that need addressing the chiefest among them being a long overdue upgrade to meet the needs of our InfraTech 9000 watt / 240-volt heat lamps that we heavily rely upon during the winter. We hired SY Electric to move the existing outlets that powered the lamps to a more accessible location giving us at least 10 more usable feet on their extension cords and upgraded their plugs from your typical 4-pronged Nema whatever male-end style plugs to a twist lock design that's safer for us to use. Chris came in, took the measurements he needed and bent the conduit pipes manually before running the wire. The lamps were back up and running by the end of the day and the work looked clean and finished. The lamps were always a major frustration in the shop and a huge safety concern, and I couldn't be happier with the end result. Since then, we've had SY back in the building for everything from solving flickering lights, wiring up emergency EXIT signs, adding outlets as more of our tool became battery powered, and powering a half ton electric hoist we use to lift truck beds off their frame rails for repairs. It's nice if you know how to handle small electrical issues or have an uncle or a nephew that can do that sort of handy man thing, but when your life and your employees lives are at risk and when you're storing a diverse mix of about dozen customer vehicles simultaneously that can range from a typical Camry to a Lamborghini it's a good idea not to go to your guy simply because they can ""do it cheaper"" it's a better idea to turn to the professionals like SY who actually know how to fix your sh*t. A person who treats everyone with the same dignity and respect, whether you live in a big ole Gatsby mansion or a tiny little abode like I do. He's someone who takes great pride in the quality of his work and is constantly seeking to raise the standard he holds himself and his company too by keeping pace with the latest innovations in the industry and is someone who is willing to go over in excruciating detail the minutiae of every job so that your vision can be brought to life exactly as you've dreamt it. He's always been this painstakingly detail oriented about everything since we were kids and it's really to our benefit as his customers because when SY shows up you know you're gonna get quality work from honest, hardworking people and that's whether you just need a few ceiling fans and canned lights like I did or some swanky chandelier and under lit marble countertops. I trust SY electric, I'm always happy with work and the price too and I think you will be as well.

Our main panel was damaged by poor connection with PG&E meter. Within 2 days SY got us city permit, fixed the panel and worked with PG&E to get the service restored; beyond that, they provided documentation to support the claim for PG&E to cover the cost of the repair (which they did). They are not only knowledgable and very professional but also have been working in the area for decades which gives them knowledge on how to navigate the system.

We've also called them for small jobs that most companies shrug upon and SY has been just as diligent and professional, it doesn't matter how big the bill is going to be they show up and do excellent work every time.
