S & S Electric was created back in 2006 by our founder Stephen Laird Williams II. We began modestly, promoting ourselves exclusively on Craigslist Austin, taking on one job at a time. As we expanded, we placed ads in local phone directories and created handouts; but, the best jobs came through word-of-mouth from previous clients.

Today, we have numerous significant commercial clients to meet their electrical demands and a rising count of satisfied residential customers.

A short while back, we undertook a project for Madnic Construction on West Avenue in downtown Austin; this project involved a multi-unit condominium that won various awards for its cutting-edge electrical systems incorporating both commercial power and solar energy. Residents benefit from summer electricity costs as low as $12, and in winter, the utility company compensates them for excess solar power.
