Because there is a refund pending to me I will update my review to match my expectations of the company once I get the promised check...

Paula sends out invoices and estimates and doesn't state they're charging you by the hour. It's definitely a hidden cost. I've asked her several times to send me an itemized bill and she hasn't sent it. She gets very rude if you make statements that her info isn't correct. For example she added my two invoices incorrectly and told me to add them. I said Paula pull a calculator out because your math is incorrect. She finally agreed she made a mistake.

Danny Gause definitely isn't moving with integrity with this company at all. He had a scamish vibe when I met him on the first visit but, I made a note to not let my guard down. He kept reminding me about how much our cost would go up if he did what I asked him to do correctly. I asked him to hang the chandelier a certain way he told me "" Well that's going to cost you way more money."" Anything I said he would convert back to the cost and time.

Danny Gause told me he was charging for 3 hours of work on the first visit. I said no you're not because you were only here a hour and luckily I have a camera to prove that. He also tried to log enormous hours again today on the second visit. I guess Danny is getting paid commission on each job he's doing by the time frame, so make sure if you don't have cameras you're clocking him. He'll add an extra hour or 2 for his benefit.

Danny Gause tried to pressure me into paying him on the spot immediately when he finished the job. I told him no because the invoice is incorrect. Guys the company has a secure website for customers to pay on. Please don't give you personal payment info to Danny . He was so aggressive in wanting that incorrect payment I just knew this guy isn't a trust worthy person.

So, after getting no where with Paula on an itemized invoice they finally lowered the price. They knew their process is unclear and Danny is a fraud on clocking in his hours. I will never use this company again. Danny isn't all that good of an electrician. He fumbles around trying to fig out crap. While the helper is doing all the labor he's in and out my front door. He's making personal phone calls about how I'm his last job and when he gets off he's coming over. I'll make sure I put this all over the internet so Danny and Paula can learn for future customers.

Signed,

We chose this company to install a chandelier .... big mistake ... yes the chandelier was hung and looks great.. But when it comes to billing this is ridiculous. First off the company gives you a ESTIMATE... not including the hidden cost. After the work was completed we received and outrageous bill and the math wasn't mathing. We found out that the services is per hour which in fine if stated on the invoice of the estimate which wasn't. The tech also reported he Hung the chandelier and had to take it back down which was also inaccurate because the first chandelier was too wide to hand. To add to that the technician reported 3 hrs of service when they were here an hour. The time stamps were pulled from the ring doorbell. Nice Try!!! So when we spoke to the home office Paula could never get a straight answer about billing. We asked for an itemized bill and the response was "" I have to call you back"" which I don't understand because you have the invoice pulled up. They also charged for wire nuts ... I don't know if you all ever hung light but all the supplies are included. And to charge per hour little things matter like not taking the protective plastic off the fixture that adds 15mins , not knowing if the switch is off adds 15mins instead of just requesting the breaker be off. Also taking personal phone calls while on the job that adds time also when the other tech is waiting in instructions. so if you get a tech named Danny look out for these things because it's unfair to the consumer have ya timer set. And don't pay when he requests on site ... Check you invoice and pay through the website.

A tree took out power lines during a recent thunder storm. It also tore the service entrance off the side of our house. Rytec was awesome and the team of people were responsive and professional. Chuck was my first point of contact and helped get things scheduled and pulled stock from inventory so the technicians were prepared and equipped when they arrived. Clinton and David arrived ahead of schedule and did a masterful job in installing a new service entrance. They were polite and professional and instrumental in getting our power restored. Overall, I found Rytec to be well stocked, skilled and reasonably priced. I would recommend them to others and will certainly use them again in the future

Our business was struck by lightning. We called Rytec based on a recommendation and I am so glad we did. The technician, Spencer, is extremely knowledgeable and even more helpful was his ""stay until we have done all we can"" attitude. Will definitely use them in the future!

Scheduled an appointment with the office. The electrician assigned was supposed to call me the evening before to confirm and then the day of, to let us know his ETA. no call, no show. I will not try this company again.

I was referred to Rytec Ele. by another business owner that had used them in the past. They came and estimated the job and scheduled for the following week. The technician that came out was very thorough and diligent. The job took a little longer than they thought but the quoted price stayed the same. Very satisfied.

I had an outlet that kept shorting out every time it rained, which would trip the breaker which would turn off the fridge in the garage. Steven from Rytec came out and looked at it and was able to put in new outlet outside and ran a dedicated line for fridge to breaker. Problems solved! Super professional, fast and friendly!
