I cannot say enough good things about Robert and Ryan Electric. My wife and I recently bought a house in the Whittier area that hadn't seen much work since the 1960s. Naturally, the electrical panel and wiring needed an upgrade. After a bad experience with a personal referral to another electrician and a nightmarish experience getting a new electrical panel permitted by the City of Whittier, we thought we were out of the woods. We were wrong! Lots of issues started to reveal themselves when we finally moved in. Plugging things into outlets would trip circuits. Running the dishwasher tripped a separate circuit that the garbage disposal was on. It was terrible. Robert came to the rescue and for a very reasonable price, was able to diagnose AND FIX the problems in just a couple of hours. He caught things that were wired incorrectly that both our previous electrician and the city inspector(!) both missed. If you are looking for an honest, decent, hard-working and extremely qualified and experienced electrician- look no further. Call Ryan Electric and then come back to this review to thank me later.

I texted and left a request for a quote on the website. They didn't respond to either. I wasn't aware that it was necessary to send a message via Yelp alongside the one I already sent to info@ryanelectricca.com. My understanding was that utilizing the company's website for communication would be adequate. However, I do truly appreciate the prompt response to the Yelp review as well as the specific preference for communication.

I found Robert working in a neighbor's house and his truck was clearly a electrician's - NEAT AND ORGANIZED he came recommended and handed me his business card that read ""The honest Electrician""! So I hired him, as he was reasonable vs the outrageous quotes I received from two others. Yes, he was fast (City Inspections were not)! Experienced and pleasant to work with he and his sidekicks were fun, clean, and nice people! Family run and his wife runs the logistics and phones - better than excellent was she! He is admittedly picky what areas he serves, but he can do that -with his age and experience, he deserves it!

We had an electrical outlet go out at our facility. Called them up and they were able to have Robert come out the same day. He checked out the outlet, and found that it wasn't the outlet but that the breaker had gone out. He went out, got a new breaker for us and fixed everything fast! Had my old Zinsco breaker panel upgraded to a new Semens 200amps. Everything from start to finish went smooth. Pricing was very competitive and service was attentive. I especially liked that they finished up the Stucco work after all permits have been approved which saved time hunting for someone to finish the job, as well as pull all permits and fees for the city. Robert was easy to work with and took care of this project as if I could ask for anything more.

Getting solar panels installed and had Ryan Electric look at our main panel. He was prompt in my request for an appt and he came by my house the next day. He was on time, gave me great advice, and gave me a competitive quote for a main panel upgrade. I didn't end up hiring him for the job because the solar company gave me a big discount for the upgrade but I will definitely hire Ryan Electric for any future electrical jobs ie adding outlets.
