I have hired several electricians over the years; however, Chris of RWB is the best. We asked him to do several projects over several days from replacing the main panel, installing several ceiling fans, plugs, switches, adding lights, attic work, and more. Chris is highly competent. He communicates frequently with the customer to make certain the customer is getting what they want. He explains electrical work in laymen's terms so the customer is able to make good decision if there are changes that need to be made. Chris does not take short cuts. If something in the home had not been done correctly previously, he makes it right. As it happens in an older home, something that appeared to be an easy fix required more effort, parts, or labor. Chris stays on top of it to deliver a well done project for the customer.

Our oven suddenly stopped with a loud pop, but the repair guy said the oven was fine. I called Chris at RWB Electric, he showed up promptly, and he quickly deduced that it was a short in the wiring in the wall. We had our kitchen remodeled a couple of years ago, and the contractor illegally spliced a copper wire extension to the existing aluminum wires. Chris and his apprentice provided a quote, showed up on schedule, and ran new wires within a few hours. The oven works great again, and the price was at the lowest end of his quote. And his follow-up call a few days after to make sure we were satisfied was much appreciated! Extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. Highly recommended.

Unreliable and irresponsible. First gave me a randomly very high quote then when I pointed out it is hardly less than an hour of work, he decided to come in person to check the work. We scheduled an appointment, I confirm the appointment and then didn't show up. Even after repeated messages and calls on the appointment day no response and later on I get a message I never confirmed. When I send a screenshot of the confirmation message, he said he never received it.
Gave him benefit of doubt and rescheduled it, He came saw the work and gave me a quote which was less than 50% of the first quote he provided. I ask when can he do it and he said he would have to order parts so it would have to be end of the week, we scheduled for Friday.
Om Friday he messages he still hadn't received the parts but should receive it anytime today. This is the last I heard. I messaged end of day trying to inquire if he received the part. No response.
I texted him on his phone and then messaged him on yelp again, where I had originally contacted him.
No response. Just disappeared, no response, no apologies nothing. I wouldn't trust him ever again.

I wanted to find a local electrician to help me install a dimmer switch after several of my own attempts failed. The old wiring was complicated and I knew this was a job for a pro. I emailed Chris and he got back to me extremely fast. He squeezed me into his schedule because he could tell that I was in a bind (for safety reasons I had shut off the breaker to two bedrooms). He showed up on time, professional, and was able to fix the problem very efficiently. I have a couple more electrical jobs around the house I will most certainly be using Chris to help me with! I had a string of power outlets go out in family room which powered my internet so I needed an electrician. During this time of a pandemic worried no one would be available. Called one company said can't come by that day and will be closing the following week. Called RWB electric spoke with Chris says in area will be by within an hour. Before arriving power returned but Chris was concerned if it was safe the circuit may have a short. After testing circuits he was able to find a neutral issue in an outlet in garage connected to the circuit. Chris then scheduled to send a estimate and schedule work for Tuesday, since this being on a Friday evening and he had work already scheduled for Monday. Chris arrived Tuesday reran outlet to another circuit to get rid of bad neutral now all is good. Chris was professional through and through gave all the different options to correct, guaranteed his work also gave a Great Price on all the work and parts. Chris goes on my list for go to guy for any electrical issue I may have in the future.
