Our tankless water heater started leaking. The R S Andrews tech came and said we needed a new heat exchanger. After some time on the phone he told us a new exchanger was not available for our water heater. He said we'd have to replace the entire heater, for a total price of over $5000!
I called the manufacturer, and they told me where to purchase a new exchanger, for about $300. I got a local plumber to install it for an additional $300.
In short, a little leg work on my part saved us about $4500! In addition, two other companies I talked to said that $5000 for a new tankless water heater is too high! Be careful dealing with this company.

My last water bill was very high so I suspected a leak. I contacted a plumber and a Leak Detection company. and they were not able to find the leak. I contacted RS Andrews and Mr. Todd Allen came out and began by asking me many questions about my problem and he even contacted the leak detection company. He walked my property with me looking for a leak. Finally he discovered that I did not have a leak but instead had a neighborhood irrigation system attached to my meter. And the irrigation system had the leak. We shut off the irrigation and my problem was solved. I highly recommend Mr Todd Allen with RS Andrews. He truly cared about my problem.

This company is one of the worst when it comes to plumbing. We wanted tankless water heaters throughout our home and were advised against it from a technician. We trusted the technician and went forward with their advice. The day after installing the new water heaters we were left with cold water for over a month. We hoped it would get better on its own and traveled only to return a month later with the same issue. We specifically requested a different technician only to be met by the same tech that did the bad install job, but this time was met with an attitude by the technician. We were given a promise by Brad, the manager, that the issue would be resolved. The second technician came around and somewhat resolved our hot water issue, but it was still worse than it was before we hired RS Andrews. We decided with our bad luck to bite the bullet and be left with our situation as the manager told us if we weren't satisfied with our product that they would promise their 100% satisfaction guarantee (as seen on their website) or our money back. Flash forward months later, we find a reputable plumber outside of RS Andrews who actually corrects their issues caused since we have no faith or trust in RS Andrews to get the job done. We decide to call RS Andrews to remove the water heaters as we're not 100% satisfied and they deny that they offer the guarantee even though it is advertised plain as day on their site. In all my years of working and dealing with vendors, specifically, plumbers, these guys are the absolute worst. I would leave zero stars if possible. Best of luck to anyone who decides to deal with this headache of a company.

I have used RS Andrews for years. Most of their employees are competent at what they do. The concern I have now is that you have to watch them constantly when they are in your home. It never used to be that way. And I would always show the service rep where the furnace, AC system, plumbing area, etc. was, then leave them alone to work. In the last couple of years, they have stolen a bottle of liquor, a metal box that I kept valuables in, and a wrist watch from my bedroom. I have signed a service agreement with them, so will let them in my house while the agreement is in force since I paid for a full year. But I will stay with the person while they are in my house, then start using another company.

No show at 5 hour appt window. Sent a text message blaming their ""technician"" and then kept sending texts trying to come out at 8 or 9pm.
I realize it is the busy season for HVAC, would be awesome if they did too. That way they wouldn't double book and leave potential customers waiting indefinitely...

Well it's great to have the HVAC working again by actual trained professionals ""Guardian HVAC""
We had heard from the service manager at RS Andrews... the usual postering of we find this techs behavior unacceptable... bla..bla... bla..
Kept calling me by the wrong name (apparantly another complaining customer. By the end of the call he verbalized ""I seriously believe our tech was trying to help you guys out."" Wow what a back pedal!
Promised to reverse charge our service charge of $59. That was hardly worth the 90 degree temps in our home for over 30 hours! Where was our compensation for that?
I stand my ground... Don't use these people! You've been warned.

They have been servicing my mom ACHVAC since 2006. Started with new unit installed followed by several repairs and coil replacements. I found it strange as I line out of town but in May I found out they wanted to replace the unit after several visits of trying to determine where the Freon leak is from. Within first month of the new unit, guess what! Another leak! Yes in a brand new unit. So they came and replaced the coil on a brand new unit after they told me that they found the leak. I have never seen a coil need to be replaced on a brand new unit. I spoke to Mr Andrew who said it is not uncommon to have bad coil on a new unit. I hate to say this but dealing with several buildings at work and with AC units Maintinence, I warned him him they are missing something. ....2 weeks later, out of Freon again! After several visits determined leak is in the Cooper wires in the attic meaning the old unit never needed to be replaced! Mom is making monthly payment on a $5700 new unit. I spoke to the tech David...they will not admit what happened. They stopped sending summery of repairs for last few visits. Previous unit also needed several repairs. At least 3 new coils. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I was in need of a new water heater and contacted RS Andrews to handle the task. They arrived as scheduled and the job was done, somewhat.
The next day I noticed the water in the shower was not able to be adjusted to a usable temperature. I placed a call and they were very quick to setup a service call to ascertain the problem.
A service technician arrived once again and determined that everything was connected properly and it was a wiring issue. Note - this is a gas water heater. Once we investigated further it was noticed that toilets were now filling with Hot Water and several sinks were now inverted between Hot/Cold water, shower was still not usable.
It seems that the unit was indeed NOT installed properly as half the house was cross connected with the Hot & Cold lines. Thankfully we handled the fix ourselves and all was made right, no thanks to the folks at RS Andrews.

The service RS Andrews provides belongs in a trash can. They have no integrity. They couldn't follow through on a service call. When I initiated a call to request a follow up to complete the service, the customer service representative laughed. I guess they are in the business of providing jokes and giggles. I hate that I have to rate them one star when they deserve less than that. A star they are not, more like a bag of rocks. And to add insult to injury, I selected them because of TRUSTDALE.COM

Prompt and friendly service and problem fixed. Would be five stars but I feel we were ripped off. $60 for the diagnostic and $250 for the part that took the tech about 10 or 20 mins to install. That part costs $10-$30 retail. I expect a bit of mark-up and understand the experience and labor has value, but that's a bit much and we won't be using them again.
