Ron was helpful to discuss my EV charger install and all the options. I finally decided to add a 50 Amp circuit breaker in the Main panel and run conduit to the garage with surface mounted conduits. Ron did a beautiful and very professional job for my EV Charger install in the garage. The job is done professionally, clean and esthetically. His assistant, Chris, is very personable and great on the job, they team up and get the job done quick and complete.
They are prompt on the appointment and response to phone communication. I am glad that I select RPG Electric to do the project.
Tanya in Customer Service kept me update with schedule, appointment, and any question I have about the job.

Problem: some outlets inoperable on the same circuit.
Analysis: did basic troubleshooting such as:
Resetting circuit breaker; checked GFI plug; validated wire continuity in case of an open. Sent Yelp request for assistance.
Resolution:
Ron took time from his busy schedule to call and stopped by the house to troubleshootNTF and provided a couple of suggestions based on his extensive experience. For safety, I replaced the GFI and manually checked all the plugs and mapped to the circuit breaker box.
Thank again Ron. I validated that the kitchen plugs are in a different circuit hence the remap of the CB.
Root cause: User error. Unable for provide a cost value because the lessons I learned from Ron are invaluable. However if cost must be a factor, price is reasonable. I would call on him again should I have electrical issues that need resolution.

I tell you The customer service was outstanding. They worked with the City of Palo Alto to secure the appropriate permit. They walked me through the steps to have PG&E inspect the new service panel, schedule an inspection then set the appointment for PG&E to bring a new line from the street pole to my house. I am so glad I found Ron on Yelp! I sent out a work order request on Yelp to install a in house electric car charging station. Out of the 9 electricians that Yelp messaged, Ron was the only one that offered to do a in person consultation on the same day. He came back two days after to do the work. Finished everything in less than two hours. Installed the charging station right at where we wanted it to be. Although he had to cut open the wall to do the work, but he did a great touch up job that I can't even tell the wall was ever cut open. They also cleaned up my garage after they are done. I had a very pleasant experience with RPG Electric - professional and efficient. Highly recommended to anyone who's looking for a good electrician!
