In the year 1971, the name Royal Electric Company was adopted, becoming known for its exceptional service in small-scale commercial, residential, and maintenance projects. In the 1970s, the firm expanded in multiple sectors such as Multi-Family, Industrial, and Public Works Construction. In 1974, the son of Leo, and became a partner in 1977 when the firm incorporated as Vellutini Corporation dba Royal Electric Company. In the beginning of the 1980s, the partners expanded their expertise to include underground electrical work. Initially focusing on underground utilities, street lighting, and traffic signals, the company rapidly moved into additional niche underground sectors like runway lighting for airports and highway projects.
Throughout the years, Frank Vellutini has emphasized the importance of upholding the company's commitment to customer service, quality, and particularly its relationships. The service department at Royal Electric Company still functions similarly to the company in 1971, and remarkably, continues to serve many of the same clients.

They believe in their employees and invest in each and everyone of them. I worked here for almost two years and loved it. Royal worked with us from the beginning to help with choosing the best option for replacement to ensure that the new lights were bright enough as well as most energy efficient. Jared was very responsive to all of our questions and needs and Leo has displayed amazing customer service and knowledge when it comes to anything electrical. Their installation crew was very experienced and their attention to detail really made a difference in the aesthetics of the lighting.The lights are amazing and work better than I could have imagined.
