Ron's Electric
Company Overview
Diagnosing issues, enhancing meters and sub panels, adding additional circuits and designing lighting.
I’ve had three full-time employees, but right now I manage all tasks myself. For several years, I worked with a variety of property management companies. I maintain a loyal customer base that supports my business, but I constantly searching for additional work.
I was born from Burbank and spent most of my life in the North Hollywood and Studio City region. During 1983, I attended trade tech to study the electrical field. I held the position of class president during my initial year. During my twenties, I participated in jet ski events. I also played softball and baseball regularly. With time, I mostly enjoy golf. Pursuing the ball isn’t as enjoyable these days. I truly enjoy working in electrical work and helping others.

I just moved into a Calabasas house last month and within a few weeks had a number of light switches and electrical outlets simultaneously stop working. After researching electricians on Yelp I came across Ron, saw all of these glowing reviews, and decided to take a chance. Very pleased that I did -- Ron not only diagnosed and fixed the original issue, but replaced several non-GFI outlets around the exterior of my house as well. All the while Ron was professional, humorous, and patiently explained what he was doing as he worked. Ron is going to be my go-to professional for all electrical issues from now on - five stars!

Ron Installed recessed lighting and new GFI's. Great work. Great communication. Fair prices.

Ron really took care of us and our house. Ron's spared no expense and provided me with an honest assessment and quality craftsmanship.

Ron came highly recommended, so nice surprise that I had a great experience. We had some general electrical issues around the house that he was able to repair, and was upfront about issues he felt he couldn't fix properly (that needed a plumber, for example). Ron is highly knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Will use again!

Ron is great. I messaged him via yelp late last night and he came out early the next day to fix the problem. Job well done. Easy to work with and speedy. Will definitely be using him again.

Excellent service... great work...very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend Ron's services.

This is my 2nd review of Ron Lombardo and his great work.
A few weeks ago while Ron was at my home doing some exterior electrical repair work he mentioned that my breaker box had very old and somewhat loose breakers and should consider replacing with new fresh breakers for more efficient fault detection/protection. I've lived in this 1954 home for 11 years and have never even thought about it...so, I immediately was open to that. Safety first.
He quoted me a reasonable price and we set the appointment. He showed up on time and was complete within an hour. While he was in the box he noticed an open wire (which was buried in the back) and capped it. Also, he saw a conduit pipe that needed to be anchored to the side of the house and did this for free.
Again, I'll say that I highly recommend Ron to your project large and small...he's very pro and will discuss what he's doing (if you're interested).
Great work, Ron.
Thank again!

AAA+ Showed up on time, got the job done, and was a really nice guy.
Replace the burned-out socket in my wall and wired it up nice and safe!

After much thought, I have decided to re-write this review. I originally rated five stars but have lowered to three because of what happened.
The 240v outlet which was installed in my garage was overheating and I texted Ron the photo of the outlet (when it was unopened) and he responded ""That is definitely bad"" without any desire to come out. In fact, he kept telling me it had something to do with the charging cable and not the outlet. When I called another electrician, he opened up the box and which clearly showed it was an issue with the wiring (see photo). On top of that, Ron mislabeled the circuit breaker that corresponds to the EV charger and put in a 50A breaker when the box was only rated for 30A. Although Ron is friendly, this is clearly bad customer service and an utter disappointment.

Without question the nicest most professional and affordable electrician I have ever met. Got to my home right on time was super nice and fixed my issue right away. I would recommend him a thousand times over and already have. Please don't hesitate to call him. You will be glad you did.
