Wow! What can I say? I received the most incredible customer service from Ron. He was so personable and took the initial call personally. I called a ton of electricians and they all said sorry, ""they"" are in the field and can't call you but you can set up a consult and you can pay $$ but not have the chance to chat with someone first. So, I kept looking and so glad I did. Ron was so awesome and really new his stuff. He was so patient and really explained things to me. He had me send him photos so he could really assess it by phone as best he could. He helped educate me so I was not concerned about having an electrical fire. I was worried and the fire dept. had to come out twice in one day. Ron had pretty much diagnosed it almost perfectly by phone which was crazy. It does not get better than that. I was thrilled and would definitely call him again! You can not go wrong calling Ron! It will be the best customer service you get!

I don't normally write reviews, but after talking to Ron yesterday afternoon, I was so impressed!! All of the reviews on here are spot on. I called Ron yesterday to schedule an appointment to install a new light fixture. I had already removed my old fixture, and explained to him my concerns on installing the new one myself. After talking through it, Ron gave me FREE advice and pointed me in the right direction and basically talked himself out of a job. On top of that, he gave me some tips on some other electrical work I was doing. All told, he spent about 20 minutes with me on the phone giving me free advice - I don't know any electrician or contractor that does this. He was professional, easy to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable. I know who I'm going to call if I have any electrical jobs in the future that I can't tackle. Thanks Ron!!

Update: Ron saved the day again when our microwave and bathroom fan stopped working at the same time. He texted and came by to troubleshoot as soon as possible, and although it did not turn out to be an electrical issue, helped us figure out how to fix both quickly at a very reasonable cost. Thanks, Ron!

I never had a chance to actually get any work done by Ron but this review is for his customer service before hand...
I called him at 10am and his measage said give me a text or leave me a message. I sent him a text letting him know the issue we were having (85 year old man tried to install a new timer on the front porch which in turn blew half the power to the house) So anyway, Ron texted me back IMMEDIATELY! My brother called me and walked me through the fix in the meantime but either way Rons speedy return text mixed with his positive attitude after letting him know my brother helped me fix it was enough for me to know this is the guy I will be using in the future if I have anymore electrical needs!
Later on in the day he texted me again to make sure the fix I did was working properly... I feel like he went above and beyond what was needed and I hadn't even paid the man!
Thank you again, you've restored my faith in humanity just a little bit today! Lol

Ron was really helpful. He came on the same day I called as it could have been urgent. Assessed the situation and tried his best to resolve it late in the evening. He made sure that everything was safe, said we should wait a few days and see if there is a recurrence. If there it happened again he would come and look for everything through a method of elimination. He is awesome, explained everything to us, showed us a burnt wire and the best part is he takes credit cards online. I would highly recommend Ron. He is a professional and a gentleman.

Ron is such a pleasure to work with! He's courteous, extremely knowledgeable and cares.

First of all, he was the only electrician to actually return my initial phone call and then actually show up to check out the electrical system. Our house uses an old electrical system that most houses stopped using after the 70's...the dreaded relay switch system. Prior to meeting Ron, I had no idea what that meant...but he took the time to explain it all to me and show me how this particular system works. Knowledge is power and he helped to empower me! Ron knows EVERYTHING about this system. (It's one of the reasons I think electricians would fall off the grid after telling them we have a low-voltage system...not many electricians have experience with this.)

Since then, he has been and continues to be our go-to electrician and someone we can trust with any electrical needs. Highly recommend him!!

This is the first time I've ever been inclined to write a Yelp review, but I am doing so because Ron's service and talent is of the special sort that warrants my taking the extra time and care, just like Ron takes special time and care for his customers.

Ron has been out twice over the past month or so to install a bunch of fixtures and switches in my new home. Some re-wiring was required for what I wanted, and Ron did it all with aplomb. Not only is he extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but he also always goes the extra mile to educate and advise. In addition, he is extremely communicative pre- and post-visit, and takes the time to answer questions via email, in detail, without asking for a penny. It is evident that Ron cares deeply about his customers, and from the moment I met him I was completely comfortable having him in my home. I truly believe that he is as honest as they come, and that he would never try to nickel and dime me on anything, which is extremely refreshing.

Add all those wonderful attributes to his reasonable fee structure, and I have no doubt that you will feel as I do that Ron Mulvey is the only electrician you will ever need.

We had an electric issue and needed help fast. Found Ron on Yelp. Called and explained our problem. Ron came out. He explained every single thing that he did (the whys and hows) which was great He is a great communicator and likes to ""talk electric"". He is extremely thorough and we had a lot of confidence in him. Eveyrthing is now up and running. We would use him again if anything should come up in the future. Very professional and nice guy.
