I called Roemke after another electrician refused to even come out to diagnose the issue we were having. Brandon came out, was on time and friendly, figured out the issue in a few seconds, and went so far as to suggest I purchase the parts we needed myself to save a few bucks. He even pointed out the Yelp coupon they had going at the time. Once we had all the parts, they came back out and tied everything up in less then an hour. I'm very relieved after a bad experience with an electrician in the area to have found Roemke. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any issue.

Mark and team were very professional, friendly and courteous. We had Mark and his crew add some outdoor outlets, recessed lighting, under cabinet lighting, a second feed to our downstairs along with a panel upgrade. The guys treated our home like it was their own. Always punctual and very reasonably priced for the service provided.

Very friendly. Came out and provided quote and started job that week. Easy to work with and knows his trade, however, failed to install timer switch as discussed, drilled holes for conduit much larger than needed, installed outdoor outlets under water hose and job exceeded quote. Tried to contact Mark for the last two weeks to finish the job correctly and install additional light fixtures with no response.
Thought I had found an electrician I could use on a regular basis. Initial Yelp reviews were misleading!

I left a message on 2/6/12 with my contact information and a brief description of the job. As of today, 2/24/12, nobody called back. So I can't tell how good or affordable this electrician is, but I can certainly tell that he doesn't respect his customers. Based on my experience it's hard to understand the high ratings he received, which induced me to contact him in the first place.

I've known Mark and the Roemke Electric team for several years now. We first met when they were contracted by a previous landlord from whom I rented a home. This landlord said ""they're very good and I have never been disappointed."" When I moved to a new house, it was a damn wreck. The electrical looked as though it had not been upgraded or repaired since the late 70s or whatever. None of the plugs even had grounds.
Mark (the owner) and I spoke for a while about what I wanted to achieve and he came by to look around the house, take notes and give a quote. He took as many as he could and then got back to me the next day with one. I called around and asked several other local companies in Silicon Valley if they could do the same work for a comparable or lower price. After I spoke to two other companies, they said I was getting a remarkable price on the services and electrical products offered in the quote/proposal. I called Roemke Electric back, accepted their offer and they began work the following week.
Now, whenever we have family or friends over, they always say ""your house is freakin' awesome"" or ""it is soooo nice."" Roemke electric basically transformed and re-wired the whole home to current and modern standards. It was even complete with brand new main and sub fuse panels.
Moreover, they really did a good job hanging my TV, adding outdoor electrical outlets/lighting and hooking up the place w/the newest LED recessed ceiling lighting. I could not be more stoked with their work.

After a house remodel twelve years ago my pool light never had worked again. I had been given various bids of up to $2700 to fix the problem. I called Roemke Electric and Shane was at the house in 15 minutes. He happily hummed a tune while crawling under the house through all the spider webs. Mark arrived an hour later and their teamwork was very impressive. They had found the problem, and installed an inside light switch within 2 hours at a very reasonable rate. I highly recommend them.

Called Roemke Electric when we lost power to a number of outlets in our kitchen. I spoke with Mark who made sure to get enough information from me regarding our breaker box, etc so that he wouldn't have to return to the shop mid-visit, thus saving me both time and money. He showed up bright and early the next day and managed to fix the wiring issue that was causing us trouble in under 20 minutes - was immensely polite and explained what was wrong/how he was fixing it the whole time! And the end cost was definitely reasonable.
Excellent work, very knowledgable! Would strongly recommend them to anyone needing electrical help.

Mark (the owner) and Shane came out to my house to install some new outlets and a new circuit. They were very nice, and did the job quickly and professionally.
Here's the best part though: I got several quotes from other local electricians before going with Roemke. Mark did the work for (no kidding) less than *half* the cost of the other guys. One quote came in at around $350. Roemke did the work for $167. I'm not sure how that's even possible, but I'm not complaining.
I certainly know who I'll be calling for all my electrical needs.

I called Roemke when I lost power in some outlets. I had called another electrician in town the previous day, and he never returned my call. So I went to Yelp to get some help. Mark takes his own calls, and when I phoned he was finishing up another job and said he'd come over after that. Wow. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it very quickly. It was a GFI conflict set off by a space heater. He even went thru the tangle of wires on my dusty entertainment center to get everything working again. Mark obviously loves his work, and that is the best recommendation I can give. He also has reasonable rates.

We needed to have a ceiling fan installed in the living room and a ceiling liht installed in our new baby room. So we checked out YELP and Craigslist and found Roemke. I called and spoke directly to Mark who was easy to talk to and gave me an accurate quote. Scheduled to have them come out that week. Shane and Grant showed up not only on time but a few minutes early. They crawled up into our attic and ran all the wires. They were able to complete all the work in a timely manner with no problems. They even used a heavy duty support bar for the fan. It's been a few weeks and everything works great. I was really impressed by their honesty. We are planning on updating some additional lighting in the near future and will certainly give, Mark and his crew (Shane and Grant) a call.
