A cut above the rest! I interviewed three electricians and Rock Electric (Richard) by far impressed me with their professionalism, knowledge of trade, recommendations, and translating technical aspects into layman's terms so I could understand.

We had can lighting, a fan, and switches updated in several rooms; everything looks amazing.

Rock Electric worked around my schedule and communicates effortlessly so that I never wondered about what was going on. Rock provides all licensing info on a comprehensive quote so that everything a home owner might take into consideration is already there.

I have already enlisted Rock Electric to help with a few other larger scale projects; they have taken the lead and are working with the city and SDG&E to take care of all the pre-requisite work.

As long as Rock Electric is in business, I will use them for all my electrical needs.

Richard came out for a troubleshooting and repair job. His communication and response time was excellent. He was able to very quickly identify the issue and repair it immediately. Richard responded to my yelp request in less than 5 minutes! Not only was his response quick, but he was able to give me a rough estimate where others just threw out their hourly rates. He offered to come out on a Sunday night but we told him Monday morning would be fine. He arrived on time and cheerful the next morning. He tested our circuit panel, told us the problem and said his labor quote would be exactly as quoted and the parts would be additional -- as expected -- no surprises! He did not try to up-sell the job or make it seem like a larger issue. (another electrician had told us the whole panel needed to be replaced when actually the main breaker had gone bad) Richard explained what needed to be done and answered all our questions with a smile! We will definitely be calling him for future electrical issues!

Excellent customer service and very trustworthy. Highly recommend Richard for any electric repair or troubleshooting. Our AC stopped working during the heat wave and he responded quickly, gave updates on when he was enroute, and identified what was wrong. We'll definitely call him again for any electric repairs, upgrades, or questions.

I called the company because we couldn't get our oven to work after the circuit breaker tripped. Richard answered the phone right away, gave me a quote and came within 30 minutes. He didn't find anything wrong except that we were resetting it incorrectly. AND he said there was NO CHARGE! What an exceptional customer service! I will definitely recommend him to anybody who needs an honest and reliable electrician.

On the day of installation, Valentin was very professional and talked me through everything he was doing to make sure it was to my satisfaction. I started having issues with frequent power shut-offs and all of a sudden the power would not turn on in the living room. I contacted multiple electricians through Yelp and most of them were booked out 1-2 weeks. Rock Electric Service was one of the first ones to respond to my message. Richard was very helpful with providing me information, an estimate and scheduled me the same day. Lucky for me, there was a cancellation and they were able to send someone sooner. Valentin showed up on time and was very friendly. He was able to determine the issue and fix it. I don't own the house so Valentin was able to explain the situation in a way that I understood and was able to explain to my landlord. I asked Valentin a question about possible work for the future and he provided me with useful advice. The total price was also very affordable and very close to the initial estimate. My whole experience with Rock Electric Service was positive and pleasant. I will save their information for future repairs/service and highly recommend them.
