Richard at Rock Electric really saved the day for us when another electrician we scheduled cancelled at the last minute AFTER I had already left early from work. We had been dealing with a postponed dishwasher installation and needed an outlet installed asap. Everything is delayed with Covid apparently, but not his service which we are extremely grateful for. Richard came promptly and was helpful and efficient. It's great to connect with reliable professionals who take your time seriously and are willing to go the extra mile. This was a simple service but much needed after not having a dishwasher for 3 weeks and we'll definitely call on him again!

I usually take care of electrical problems in my buildings, but this one stomped me. I got Yelp to send out for quotes and I got several responses. Richard from Rock Electric told me he can can fit me in the very same day, at the end of the day. Rock has few reviews here, but they are all solid, and he sounded real good on the phone and quoted me a reasonable price, so I told him to please come. We met at the appointed time, and he started investigating. It turns out, there was a reason why I was stomped. Without going into details, he figured it out. When he showed me the problem, I thought fixing it would entail a rather big job, but he made such a clever suggestion that I could then go get a part and fix it myself (which took, literally, five minutes). All in all, it was very much worth the price I paid, and I would definitely call on him should I get stomped again or should I need some major work that is beyond my skill level.

Found Richard on yelp when my quote was sent to other business. I was weary about his number of reviews but his reviews were all 5 stars so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Richard fixed my outside porch light and microwave outlet breaker switch. He was fast, efficient, and very informative! I would call him for all my electric needs!

A cut above the rest! I interviewed three electricians and Rock Electric (Richard) by far impressed me with their professionalism, knowledge of trade, recommendations, and translating technical aspects into layman's terms so I could understand.

We had can lighting, a fan, and switches updated in several rooms; everything looks amazing.

Rock Electric worked around my schedule and communicates effortlessly so that I never wondered about what was going on. Rock provides all licensing info on a comprehensive quote so that everything a home owner might take into consideration is already there.

I have already enlisted Rock Electric to help with a few other larger scale projects; they have taken the lead and are working with the city and SDG&E to take care of all the pre-requisite work.

As long as Rock Electric is in business, I will use them for all my electrical needs.

Richard responded to my yelp request in less than 5 minutes! Not only was his response quick, but he was able to give me a rough estimate where others just threw out their hourly rates. He offered to come out on a Sunday night but we told him Monday morning would be fine. He arrived on time and cheerful the next morning. He tested our circuit panel, told us the problem and said his labor quote would be exactly as quoted and the parts would be additional -- as expected -- no surprises! He did not try to up-sell the job or make it seem like a larger issue. (another electrician had told us the whole panel needed to be replaced when actually the main breaker had gone bad) Richard explained what needed to be done and answered all our questions with a smile! We will definitely be calling him for future electrical issues!

Excellent customer service and very trustworthy. Highly recommend Richard for any electric repair or troubleshooting. Our AC stopped working during the heat wave and he responded quickly, gave updates on when he was enroute, and identified what was wrong. We'll definitely call him again for any electric repairs, upgrades, or questions.

I called the company because we couldn't get our oven to work after the circuit breaker tripped. Richard answered the phone right away, gave me a quote and came within 30 minutes. He didn't find anything wrong except that we were resetting it incorrectly. AND he said there was NO CHARGE! What an exceptional customer service! I will definitely recommend him to anybody who needs an honest and reliable electrician.
