Called Friday afternoon and was told they could get a tech out same day. I texted them my info as requested and didn't get any response. After 1 hour I text for an ETA, then 30 minutes later they tell me all their techs are ""shut down"" and would have to reschedule for Monday. I understand things happen, but to leave me hanging for 1.5 hours when time is running out and would have to find an alternative service. That's not ok.

Hired ROC Electricians to install 3 ceiling lights and check all my outlets to make sure they weren't a fire hazard, as my house was built in the late '40s. Fernando did a great job and was very polite. Would hire him again.

Really great service. I tripped a breaker at my house, and figured I just needed to throw the breakers to reset everything. No dice. I called ROC and they said they would come that day. Nice because half my house was in darkness. He showed up and found the trouble in no time. They're up front with their estimates and I feel I got great service and a quick resolution on a problem that just needed to be solved. I'd recommend!

I wish to thank Fernando, Javier and Leo for their great work. I had to do a panel upgrade plus relocating it and after some research I decided to go with ROC Electric for their price and prompt response. Fernando right away told me everything that needed to be done. They responded fast, were reliable, professional and did it all in a timely manner. I've hired ROC Electric for multiple projects and I've been extremely happy with their work every time. Most recently, they helped us upgrade two electrical panels from some ancient hunks of junk to nice 200 AMP panels. They also installed two 14-50 outlets along our driveway so we can charge our cars faster than before. From the planning to the permitting ROC took care of everything. After 5 bids, I hired Roc Electric to upgrade my 1950s electric service panel from 125 amp to 200 amp. Electric panels should last 50-years, so I wanted a quality job (for a reasonable price). Roc Electric delivered.

I work for SCE and know how to spot a good electrician when I meet them (licensed, safe work practices, identified issues before he bid, knowledgeable, knows the correct panel to install, doesn't over-bid, shows-up).

The crew was on-time, professional and completed the job on-time. Im happy with the quality of electrical work. They passed BOTH city and SCE inspections - many electricians do not. Most importantly, the crew worked using safe electrical practices, which any homeowner should appreciate.

I'm not sure what happened but Fernando stopped responding to me after I was ready to move forward with our panel upgrade hence the 2-star rating. I called multiple times, left voicemail, sent text messages and even replied back in my Yelp project thread but he had gone completely dark.

He was highly responsive when I first reached out. He provided a formal estimate via email. He even advised that I reach out to SCE to get a free ""panel meter spot"" where a tech comes out to see if the existing location is approved for my upgraded panel which it was.

I even asked that if he was no longer available for the project to just let me know which I am fine with but still no acknowledgement.
