A ***** Yelp find chosen because of the previous excellent reviews!!! Punctual, knowledgeable, reasonable AND honest! Lorex phone support told us our problem could be our DVR (which is out of warranty). Jorge looked at our system and told us he thought it was just a power supply problem. And it was which was a huge (financial) relief! He showed us the difference between the wiring, cables, connectors, etc. he uses compared to the ones included in the boxed systems from Costco and Sam's Club - no comparison!! The power supply he replaced the bad one with was twice the size! We will definitely have him build our next system!

Let me tell you how very prompt, attentive, hard working, thorough and quick Jorge and his crew completed upgrading my CCTV system. I went thru Yelp to get quotes and out of four RSVP's, Jorge is the only person who showed up at my home. That really shows you the type of person he is. He also responded to my Yelp text request ASAP. He understands business and that potential customers want responses ASAP. No job is too small for Jorge. He does both commercial and residential. He was also accomodated my specific requests. His estimates are very competitive as well. I will refer him to all my friends and family. Please consider him for your bids. This company services OC and Los Angeles. I am so glad I found them. I have a very extensive and sophisticated security system and wanted to add an additional camera.

They did not do the original work and this was a smaller job. Most contractors are too busy, and the owner, Jorge Alvarez is very busy. But he doesn't make you feel that way.

Other contractors wanted a deposit to come out to quote me (to be applied later to the work) or just didn't want to do such a small job. Jorge quoted me on the phone and sent me a written estimate a few hours later.

They showed up right on time. They did this work so incredibly efficiently. They had way more tools than others I had used, so it made the job worry free and quick. Very tidy and when I asked them to wrap some connectors they made sure to get me and show me they did it before tucking the wires away..

Jorge is very proud of the fact that he has multiple contractor licenses. He showed me his card and his insurance cards. I think he did this because he is so proud to have earned it and he continually gets licenses. When I asked if he could do some electrical work he said ""I don't have an electrician's license, but my friend does"". So nice to see people operating within the law and licenses for a change.

Usually licensed, bonded contractors cost a lot more. These guys were extremely reasonable and probably the same price as unlicensed guys. What a deal to have total peace of mind when using these guys.

They also do audio, video and networking so I will be using them again soon.

Oh, and my small job turned into a large payout because my new next-door neighbor asked him to come over for a huge job after seeing his work.

This company is doing it right and wish there were more contractors like this

I initially hired a company to install 5 cameras on my 8 camera system after we had a burglary in my neighborhood. The company did a fine job however failed to respond to my repeated telephone calls or email requests to add the 3 final cameras to my system. Assuming they didn't want the work, I found Jorge on Yelp and sent him an inquiry. He responded within a few minutes and we set up an appointment for the following day. A few days later, Jorge notified me that he had matched all my existing cameras and was ready to do the installation. He and his partner worked the entire day hooking up the three cameras to my system and left just before dark. I noticed one of the cameras was not performing to my expectations at night so I called Jorge to ask him about it. He came back to my house the following day at 7:30 at night so he could investigate the problem. Within about 30 minutes, he determined that the camera was picking up an infrared reflection from a pillar a few feet away and decided to move the camera to a better location. He worked for about 2 hours in the dark to move the camera to a better location. Once he completed the job, the camera works perfectly. Jorge told me his desire was to make it right with his customers on all of his jobs. As far as I'm concerned.. Jorge did a great job for me and I'm perfectly satisfied with his work. I have since recommended Jorge to two of our friends who are interested in putting in a security camera system. Thanks Jorge for a job well done!

Jorge and his team did a great job for me. I've worked with a lot of contractors, and Jorge is one of the really good ones. He's a good person, with integrity and diligence to do the job right. He and the guys went over and above to make sure the job was done thoroughly and correctly. For me, he installed a security system - but I expect to bring him back to help with some general contracting work that I have going. I also got good price on the job, which was not an easy one. No hesitation, I recommend Robocam for security system installations and for other contracting needs.

Robocam was referred to me by the supplier of my previously installed video cameras, I was not pleased with the work of the previous installer. Once contacted Jorge arrived in a timely manner and assessed my situation. In addition to an unsatisfactory installation Jorge found my cameras were defective. He contacted the camera supplier and advised them of the problem, he returned on a Sunday afternoon and removed the defective cameras. Jorge contacted me two later with warranty covered cameras and professionally reinstalled them. He made sure the cameras were installed to my satisfaction and pointed at my identified target areas. He cleaned up after the installation something the previous installer failed to do. I highly recommend Jorge and will be using Robocam again in the near future to install additional cameras!

Robocam is a great security camera company. Jorge is very professional and is very knowledgable. He has installed camera systems at our McDonalds restaurants. Whenever we have an issue Jorge is there to help us out. In the past it has been very hard for us to find reliable camera companies but we were referred to Robocam by another McDonalds owner.

Our company has used Jorge for years. They have great service at a good value. Their equipment is state of the art. Last year my car was broken in to at night and the police had an easy time catching the youngster due to the outstanding quality of the night vision camera that we use to monitor our parking lot. the Officers recognized him and apprehended him within a week. We have their equipment in all of our locations (15 Mcdonalds). i can call Jorge at anytime of day or night for any assistance and kow that he will help me.
