As a veteran, Mr. Robinson provides a 10% savings on hardware costs for his clients. To maintain our services affordable, we avoid charging an hourly rate; instead, we offer reasonable package deals for our clients.
Robinson Elektrik began in Albuquerque, NM, and later shifted to Fresno, CA, where we remain to serve the Valley.
I gained my education as an electrician at Albuquerque Technical/Vocational Institute in Albuquerque, NM, during the 80s. I studied industrial electricity and specialized in residential electrical work. Today, I specialize in lighting.

Robinson Eletrik has done several jobs on our home and have always done top notch work! Usually a quick responder with either texting or calling and flexible on repair timing (including a recent emergency on a Sunday afternoon!). Repair prices have also always been beyond reasonable for work that stands up long after the job!

Incredibly unprofessional. I called for an estimate on a job. He told me he did not give estimates over the phone and needed to see the job to quote a price. I thought it was weird, but he seemed nice enough over the phone, so I went with it. He schedules a 9:00 A.M appointment to come out to my house several days later. He did not show on time, and I got a text at 9:30 saying he would be late because he was picking up supplies for my job. I was incredibly confused because he had not told me a price at this point. I let him know that it was okay that he was late but that he should not buy materials for my job until he quoted me a price. Fifteen more minutes go by, and he texts me that he is going to pass on the job.
It was an inconvenience to me, my tenants, and my time. I swear, my grandfather was the last honest electrician.

Excellent work. He has over 30 years experience which was evident in his workmanship which was superb. Thank you Eddie!!

If you value fair estimates and good old fashioned courtesy, you'll definitely hire Mr Robinson.
His response time and detailed skill for the job was excellent and he's a veteran too!
He is in demand so if you can book him I highly recommend it!

never employed his services as his demeanor is very abrasive and not customer inviting. our phone is blocked due to many robocalls and scams. i was berated via yelp response as well as my husband when attempting to make an appointment on the phone. he instructed my husband in a less than friendly tone he does not pick up blocked phone calls etc. ummm maybe the light bulb went off about why we blocked our number to avoid calls unknown as he does the same with not picking up. distinction being we are not in business to invite all calls for possible income.
he quoted initially a $ 100.00 fee to come out. that was a vague response for me prompting my next question as to whether we would be charged for add'l labor time and obviously parts. not in the mood for any surprises after an appt would be scheduled. this is his response verbatim dw, i don't operate that way. the is no charge for an estimate. if u don't want mt service u may contact, albright, howe or wild. they charge. once more, better to contact me at my business number for faster reply: (click to see phone number). robinson elektrik. a fair question from a paying customer with a much needed attitude adjustment from a business perspective. booked an appt with a friendly, professional, accomodating electrician willing to answer any questions with no defensive agenda presented to a customer.

I texted for information and received an immediate reply. He came the next day, arriving early. He diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. Problem was fixed in less than 30 min. I highly recommend. His experience and knowledge is invaluable !

I reached out to him as soon as he opened to ask if he had any time to come and hook up my stove and stove hood. He was super dismissive with me and very quick to get me off the phone stating he was online at the moment - I'm sorry, I am a customer wanting to employ your services, being dismissive is NOT what you should be doing. He asked me to send him my name, address, and a few pictures of what needed to be done, and he stated he would get back to me shortly. I sent him the information he requested as soon as I got off the phone with him. Then I waited all day long for him to contact me (I sent a follow-up text three and a half hours later) and heard nothing back from him. Now, he is closed and I still never heard from him. However, when my husband called last weekend, he was super quick to accommodate my husband, as well as friendly and personable with my husband. He was also VERY quick to set time aside to come to our house and handle an issue - he worked well with my husband. However, with me... I get ignored and a lot of crickets. Don't really know how to read the two interactions... but I will not be calling him again, and advising my husband to do the same.

Called him immediately after posting on Yelp and he indicated a time he would be out today. Showed up early and quickly diagnosed the problem with our outlet and circuit breaker. It was fixed in under an hour! He is now our go to electrician.
I have to update this review unfortunately because a week later I asked my wife to contact the owner since I was at work and he did not respond to her which was severely disappointing. Then after she posted about it he replied she never contacted or spoke to him. She has correspondence and a call log proving otherwise.
It saddens me that he was so dismissive of her, not knowing she and I are related.
