Today I learned that when the power to your house goes out but your neighbors still have power, then it means your master circuit breaker has crapped out. Power went out at midnight. I was half-asleep on Benadryl when I reported the outage to SDGE. SDGE called back and sent a technician (two hours later) who said the meter looked fine. Fast-forward seven hours later, I called SDGE and told them I still don't have power. They sent a technician again and were unable to give a time-frame for arrival. Meanwhile, the ice cream is melting in my fridge and I am sweating like a pig. An hour later, the technician says the breaker needs to be replaced. That's when I called electricians on Yelp one-by-one. The first one on the list; no answer. Roberts Electric answered the call and every time I called them back. They came out to examine the breaker on the same day and replaced the part without me having to wait at home. They are very professional and knowledgeable electricians. I would do business with them again.

Everything was great from the time I called in to make the appointment to the job itself. Matt was courteous and took the time to explain the charges and setup an appointment time. I even sent them over pictures of what I needed done in advance so they could see what they were getting into. On appointment day, Ben called in advance of the appointment time to confirm my address, the work to be done and to let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived, he got right to work on the job and finished up in just under 2 hours. No surprises and the charges were as expected. Thanks for a great job and keep up the good work. I have given your contact information to our building engineer so that Robert's Electric can be added to our approved vendor list for other residents to use.

Having electrical work done is always painful, but in this case, we actually feel good about having the work done. We had wires burning inside of our walls-- Another electrician could not figure out what was wrong. Enter Robert. This man is amazing and is an expert in his field. We walked around with him and he had the vision of knowing where all of our electrical boxes and wires were without cracking in to the wall. We had to have the house re-wired (afterall, it is 90 years old). The beauty of it is that no holes had to be put in our walls, Thank God. Robert was able to fit under our house as well as crawl through the attic. Thank you soooo much Robert!

Robert's Electric is very solid and great electrical contractor. I have used them over the years for my house and rental property. They are on time and charge a fair price. One time I had an issue with them and they were willing to work with me to resolve the issue, I will continue to use them and would recommend them.

I have an old house and I need frequently need an electrician (and a plumber, and a...) My old favorite guy retired and I was looking for someone new. I'm glad I called as I think I found someone I can trust to replace my old trustworthy electrician. The technician was professional, neat, and explained everything fully and in language I could understand - just like my old guy. I will definitely be calling them again as soon as the next thing breaks down in my old house!
