Recommended Customer Reviews

Roberts Electric did a small job for me installing a 240 outlet in my driveway for charging my new EV. Tom, the electrician they sent, knew his stuff and was very efficient and professional in tapping into my panel, finding a way to use its limited capacity, and wiring the outlet through the crawl space under the house to leave the smallest visible external ""footprint"". He was personable and informative and did a fine job. Also of note was Angela of the home office who really went the extra mile in setting up the appointment. She even found a ten dollar overcharge on the bill and refunded me the mistake. I highly recommend these folks!

Roberts Electric company is dedicated to completing a project on time and on budget. As a Designer I can meet with their team onsite during preliminary phases and construction and we work out the nitty-gritty details with the homeowner's in mind. I have been working with them for several years, Very professional!

I had some major damage to my bathroom fan (fire), and needed electrical repair. The damage was extensive enough it needed to be seen, and parts needed to be ordered ahead of time.
Roberts was recommended to me by my building's management company. They seemed okay on the phone, and said they would discuss my job with their electrician and call back. They never called back so I assumed that was the end of it, as many contractors are flakey. Then, several weeks later, I got a call from a random guy who said he's here to do electrical work. I told him I had no knowledge of any appointment, as I'd already had the work done.
Today, a month and a half later, I got a bill for $125, referencing an ""order"" number that never existed in the first place!!! The bill said it was in the 32-61 days overdue, and this is the first I even heard of this. Total scam.

Excellent experience. Would hire them again for future electrical work. We needed lights installed outside the garage, and on the front porch as well as a sensor light installed over a gate. During the estimate appointment we decided to have 2 outdoor electrical outlets installed and to upgrade the sensor on 2 exterior existing fixtures. The lead electrician Matt was meticulous and thoughtful in his work. Matt made a change from the original plan that was better than what we'd initially discussed. Both he and the 2nd electrician Rob did an excellent job. They cleaned up so well after themselves we wouldn't have known they were here. They were respectful, skilled ambassadors of the company. The estimated price was the price we were billed. When I emailed Dan, the owner with questions and additional scheduling needs (when fixtures arrived), he promptly replied. His recommendation to try Rejuvenation for quality fixtures was excellent. When Matt was caught in traffic he phoned from the road to let me know he'd be later than expected, and wasn't that late in the end. All around good experience.

Unreliable.
They made an appointment to come today between 7:30-8:00. At 8:30 the central office finally called to tell me their electrician's van had been stolen AND THEY WOULD TRY TO LOCATE ANOTHER ELECTRICIAN! This is supposedly a big outfit and they have one electrician? The lady flew all over me because I took off work this morning and was not pleased. This is Diamond-Certified SERVICE??? I will be calling Sparky.

I had Roberts Electric come out to do an estimate to install recessed lighting throughout my home. The estimator came out on time for our appointment. I first related to him what my expectations were. Then he went through my home room by room and explained to me his suggestions. We spent at least an hour going through the many options available to us. As he was leaving he presented his business card and said I should receive the estimate in a couple of days.
I was very happy with our visit but my review is not really about the visit but more for the follow up (or lack there of). When I had not received a written estimate within the week, I phoned and was told that only the estimator could answer any questions about the estimate and that they expected him to be back in the afternoon. I did not hear from him at all. I called one more time and only was able to leave a message as he was out doing estimates.
I never did receive an estimate or a call back. In my mind, customer service is an extremely important facet for any company, equal to the job that is being done. I do expect great service and workmanship. That's why I contacted Roberts Electric in the first place. They are a ""Diamond Certified Company"" and I have come to expect exceptional quality and customer service from Diamond Certified Companies.
Unfortunately, because of this I will not use Roberts Electric for ANY of my future electrical needs.

I had Roberts Electric (RECO) do a commercial electric and data project because of a recommendation from a contractor friend. They dealt with the problems of existing wire and legacy systems very well. On the most critical day of the project the had extra people to make sure all went smoothly.
They left the site clean and in good order. Also, they quickly responded to follow up issues.

I recently had them install a light on the outside of the garage and fix an older fluorescent bulb light fixture. At first I was very nervous about selecting them to do this job. The first guy who arrived was not up to the task. He was physically impaired and unable to do the job. I believe I clearly described the job when I set the appoint so I was very disappointed to be told after his arrival that he could do the job.
They quickly rescheduled the next appointment, but I received a call prior to their appointed time that the electrician would not be able to come. From my perspective, I was getting even more nervous about choosing them to handle the job.
Finally on the third try, they arrived on time and the electrician completed all tasks required. As others have mentioned, they're not cheap, but from my point of view, I don't want a cheap electrician I want a good, safe, knows their stuff kind of electrician. I'm very satisfied with the outcome even if it was a rocky start.

The electrician they sent arrived with no ID and an hour early with no courtesy call. He stayed 40 minutes and could not fix the problem because he need a piece of common equipment. Before anyone called to re-schedule him, they sent me a bill for $165.00. That was when they told me I was charged with 1/2 hour travel time. This means they charge $125.00 for 1/2 hr worth of work. This charge would be repeated when he came back so I told them not to bother.
Do not use this company!

I've used Roberts Electric for 2 jobs so far, a ceiling lamp replacement and an upgrade of the outlet for my dryer. Both times the electricians were prompt, friendly and did a quality job. I'll use them again for sure.
