I originally contacted Robert Torres Electric because an employee here on our Ranch stated they felt a small zap in our Corral fencing upon contacting Robert Torres Electric the owner stated that his work truck had been stolen and it would be a few hours before he could come over as he had to go pick it up from impound. About 15 minutes later I received a call from a gentleman who stated he worked for Robert Torres Electric he came over and took a look around before going to the service panel he started exaggerating loose screws in the service panel dating did you see that that was almost 6 full turns then continued to look around the property and say we had several issues mind you this is a system with our Solar that has been working perfectly fine for over 10 years he stated the wiring was improperly done and with creating a shock hazard his boss Robert Torres later showed up at the property and they replaced a faulty circuit breaker saying they were going to put a bid together to fix everything properly they were getting ready to leave when mr. Torres couldn't find his keys to his work truck he ended up having to leave the work truck here and telling me he would not be back until around 2 a.m. to pick it up come to find out his keys were in his Partners pocket anyhow his partner and him returned a few days later with an estimate close to $5,000 I told my mom that $5,000 to make one plug work seemed a little heavy I then left to pick up my daughter from school and when I returned my mom stated that she gave the gentleman a $2,500 deposit to start the work. Let me remind you that they were very adamant about saying that we had an extreme shock hazard. so after a week and no word from anyone I messaged his partner and him stating that I need proof of contractors license and bond because the solar system cost over $50,000 and I wanted to make sure the work was covered if there were any issues I never received any of that only told that the work would start and that they would call me back in a few hours well about four days went by so I contacted them stating that they would be terminated from the job as the extreme shock hazard didn't seem to be too much of an issue to them it's now been about two and a half weeks since we were told the deposit would be returned and Mr Torres just keeps asking for more time I would not recommend this company they were suggesting the bunch of work that didn't need to be done and his partner seemed like a clown who didn't know anything.

This clown charged me $700 to replace a pool pump Transformer. He didn't provide a written estimate, and he did not provide a written invoice after servicing my equipment, despite my asking and his saying he would. He charged for hours of Labor that included driving and his assistant refusing to test the bad Transformer. I understand a reasonable markup on parts that are difficult to find, but the first technician to come out was clearly stalling to increase his time on the job, and I can't fathom charging someone 3 hours of skilled labor for a 2 hour drive.

I had some electrical work done at my mobile home recently it took him 2 weeks before the job got completed and it was a big rip off he charged me way to much Iam sorry to say but I won't go with him again . I learned my lesson never go with the 1st person on the list call different companies to compare prices

Finally showed up late gave us a price
Agreed he would come back on weekend at a specific time
He called the night before to change to later time
Never called or even showed up .
Had a bad feeling about him to begin with
Super weird guy .
