Robert was very knowledgeable and reliable. He was quick to come out for a quote. He installed a transfer switch on my house and added some much needed outlets in my garage. When we found out the extension cord for my generator was the wrong connections he came out and made me an extension cord with the right connections.

I was originally excited about Robert/Bob. He responded to my work request and he was able to start a couple months after I contacted him. Most of the wait was he claimed he needed to order the equipment. His bid for the work was definitely over-priced but since I was not able to find anyone else who was available to do the work without waiting 6+ months, I decided I'd pay the higher price. The work was completed in ~ 2 days so his hourly rate was probably hovering around $100/hour each for him and his assistant. The material bill was more than 2x what I could have bought the same materials at HD. This was a fixed bid, so I can't complain at this point, until I received his final bill which was 25% ($1000) more than what we agreed upon. He tried to claim more work was required than in the original bid. Whether this was true or not, he finished the work earlier than he estimated with a fat hourly rate. He agreed to remove the extra cost, so at this time, I might still have been ok with the experience. The last issue was that part of the work was to install AFCI breakers. Robert claimed he could not source any of these breakers so he'd have to come back in a couple months to replace. I question this since he had 2 months to order the materials prior to the work. I had contacted him twice to get an update and both times he claimed he still was unable to get the breakers. It's been 6 months now and I've seen the breakers in both Lowes and HD. I've given up on Robert. I am accepting that I overpaid for the AFCI breakers to begin with and all I got was a traditional $5 breaker. I will just buy the breakers myself and install them.

Robert aka Bob is a highly knowledgeable professional and a resourceful gentleman. His price is very fair, prompt on time, thoughtfully communicative, you can tell he cares about the job he's doing for the client. We brain stormed how to meet my goal for adding a whole house surge suppression, he came up with a solution and tackled the challenge - and the installation came out with perfect results. What I found very cool also is that he took the time to teach me and answer my questions I had. I feel like I have an electrician for life now. I highly recommend Robert Stevenson Electrical Service - this is an above and beyond type of pro electrician!!

My parents needed help with a smoke alarm that kept going off and it was installed up on an 11ft. ceiling. Being elderly, there was no way for them to get up that high to check it. They also needed a high porch light replaced. He came out very quickly, addressed the issues and found the solution. He even made a trip to the store for them to get the specific pin base type bulb needed for the porch and installed that. Very kind. We highly recommend him!!

I was in quite a bind yesterday!!! My electric outlets were not working, and I was extremely worried about finding an electrician who could respond in a short amount of time if not immediately. Bob showed up immediately, and he was extremely professional and friendly. His work is wonderful, and now my electrical outlets are working again. He worked fast and I could not be any happier with his service. I will definitely be contacting him if I need any electric service in the future. :)

Bob's a peach! One of our 200amp main service breakers went kaboom on a Friday night, taking our A/C units with it during 100-degree heat. He arrived within a couple of hours and only took a half hour to replace the breaker. He was very meticulous, and even tightened some stuff from work we'd had done less than a month ago from another (highly-rated on yelp) firm. Bob will be our first call whenever we have electrical issues in the future, for sure!

Stevenson Electric came over and did the plumbing and provided electrical service to my backyard water feature. About a year later I had an issue with the plug that had shorted out. Stevenson Electric return to my home and completed the repair without charge. I found his service to be efficient trustworthy and reasonable. I've used him twice now and will use him in the future if I need any other Electrical done around my house.
