Robert Brown has done two jobs for me so far and I have appreciated his kind professionalism. During wiring for a hot tub, he showed and explained to my wife what he was doing. His knowledge and experience shows with his work.

Thank you for help. I needed help with a GFI plug in my garage. I called and was greeted with care and understanding and was scheduled a same day visit. Robert came out, quickly located and repaired the problem. When I had an additional problem he again came out and gave me advice instead of doing work I didn't need. Thank you thank you thank you. I would highly recommend this business.

Five stars! Robert found a wiring problem with a fan in one of our bedrooms in about 10 minutes (problem was some other wiring in the house). On time, super friendly and professional. Absolutely recommend him, will call him for any future electrical needs.

Robert showed up a bit early and completed my job of rewiring several 3-way circuits in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Pricing was right in line with his estimate and very fair. Best electrician we've ever had work at our home. Will definitely use him again if we need more electrical work in the future.

WARNING AVOID ROBERT BROWN ELECTRICAL
AT ALL COST!! Because...believe me, it will cost you!! We were shocked beyond belief! After Robert placed a lien on our property only 5 days after receiving his bill, and before he completed the job! Apparently he knows all the tricks to the trade, and this is his normal practice! He's a rather large, over weight guy that thinks he can bully people into paying him by putting a lien on their homes, before he finishes the work. Please share and

While in the middle of a pool remodel & landscaping project. We hired Robert Brown to help us with several electrical jobs and to make the backyard safe for our kids to play. Robert's first job was to troubleshoot and remove the exposed and nonworking Electrical in the backyard. We had some bare wires coming up out of the dirt that really concerned us, and several electrical boxes that needed to be removed or replaced. After meeting with Robert three times, to go over the same thing, we felt we clearly covered in our first meeting. He finally showed up and poked around the backyard for awhile. And before leaving, he asked if my gardener could dig a trench for him, so he could lay the low voltage wire we needed. No problem! Following week on February 20th, 2020 he returned to lay the wire and he handed us a bill for $773.00 that to our surprise included 6 hours of troubleshooting! Shocked and not knowing before hand that our 3 conversations were also classified as troubleshooting? So to say, we were shocked is an understatement! But at that point, we had no reason to doubt he wouldn't finish the job. So we paid him in full upon request. It wasn't until weeks later...and after several no shows, cancelled apps, and I can't make it, I'm sick, and I'm out of town and I can't find the parts...that we started to have our doubts! Finally on Sunday March 8th, 2020. He showed up to install a few lights and a transformer we needed, and we thought...to finish the first job? But once again after only working a half day, and not finishing...he handed us another bill for $715.00 dollars. On this day my daughter didn't leave me a check like usual, thinking she'd be back from work by 2pm, and he'd still be working. I nicely apologized for not having the check. No words were exchanged. We were just so happy to finally see some progress! We apologized again, and thanked him for working on a Sunday, and everything seems fine. He told us to give him a call in a few days when the pool was done filling, and he'd come back and restore the electrical to the pool, and address the electrical that STILL needed to be removed. No biggie! We figured we'd give him the check then. Right? Wrong! Apparently during the middle of the presidents speech declaring national disaster. He had texting me, asking if he could stop by and pickup his check?! No doorbell, or phone calls, nothing! Just one text. But with everything that was going on, and watching the news. I honestly didn't see his text until later that evening. And I responded early the next morning, with no response until Monday...when we received a certified letter/lien notice dated Friday the 13th. Obviously when I didn't respond to his text, he headed straight to the court house to place a lien on our house, only 5 days after receiving his bill. And After US..waiting patiently on him for six weeks, and he still hasn't even start the demo, or removing the bare electrical wires sticking out of dirt?! WTF Who does that to people? Oh...wait, Robert. Brown Electrical does!! Please whatever you do, don't trust anytime Robert tells or texts you! And If you do decide to use this company. Please Make sure you get everything in writing before hand. But truthfully you're still not guarantee he won't do the same thing to you! Legally he doesn't have to finish the job, he only has to make improvements.
We told Robert, we'd be happy to pay him, when the job was done. But not to our surprise, Robert declined to finish the work.

Response to Robert's comment below:
Well First off, we THOUGHT we did hire a electrician to help us with our project! WRONG....We hired & Paid YOU...""Robert Brown for 6 hours of...so call trouble shooting?! Trouble shooting, btw that we never received any results from. All we received from you was excuses and bills! If you were truly a honest person and the job was too much for you? You should of been honest from the beginning, and let us move on, and hire someone that knew what the hell they were doing! Instead of wasting our time & money on you! And btw. You never addressed ANY electrical done by the previous contractor.

2. And secondly! Shame, Shame on you Robert! I have over 40 text messages from you, and not one single message ends with...""Have a blessed day"" Robert you are the most dishonest & fake person I have ever met!

3. See you in court!

Very responsive, honest and fair. Two other Yelp electricians quoted $175-$200 just for house call and assessment of faulty light switch (and would have covered minor parts and labor). Turned out that I had the remote switch controller batteries in backwards. Robert ""fixed"" that and didn't charge for the visit. Robert also provided very reasonable estimates for two other electrical repairs that we will be pursuing. Highly recommend.
