The story of this company is closely linked to Ron Brooks, our founder. Ron enlisted in the US Navy at seventeen and became an electronics expert. Post-Navy, he worked in multiple positions as an electronics expert in the private sector. His technical background features satellite communications on floating oil platforms, wireline operations, and UPS system development. He obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering from UCSD. He pursued an MBA, finishing in 2005. As an Engineer in Training (EIT), he worked with gas turbine systems, Shipboard Power Distribution Systems, and Photovoltaic Systems. Currently, he is a member of the US Army Reserve as a Warrant Officer in signal systems. Driven by his interest in business ventures, he ran a venture in his free time. In 2013, he founded RLB Engineering LLC and continues to provide his skills in his spare time. Born in California, he journeyed various countries and came back in California, where he intends to stay.
