Anyone with a lick of sense knows that it shouldn't cost $300 to hire someone to climb a step ladder and mount a picture, especially when I am helping him to mount it. This guy is a joke trying to clean up the fact that he didn't know what the heck he was doing with the thermostat. He should stick to handymanning.

This was very much a emergency call for an outlet that was overheating from our old microwave. As soon as I was able to message him details about my problems, he gave me a call and suggested the work that could be needed, I appreciated that since not many people give you a heads up of what could be the damage.
He was very responsive on his arrival time, and once he saw the damage he got right to work, and was very professional and clean
He gave us suggestions with purchasing a new microwave, and even took our old one to dump out, which was a very nice gesture .
I would definitely recommend him for any home repairs .

Well... I once was a handy man who could do relatively simple home repairs. This one, however, got the best of me and I needed a professional. Thank God that Rich was responded quickly and fixed my problem promptly.

The water pressure regulator failed, probably a while ago, and needed replacement. I bought the part but couldn't get the old one off. One more yank on the wrench and I'm sure I would have busted a pipe, and probably my gut too.

Rich responded to my voicemail in about 5 minutes and was at my house within the hour. He's a really nice guy and does good work.

Rich responded quickly on a Saturday and did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, and charged what he said he would charge. So, that's five stars in my book. Great trustworthy service. Highly recommended.

Needed a new mailbox put in, and remove the old one. Rich responded very quickly to the request and was able to come out the next day. He arrived on time, efficiently did the work, and cleaned up. It's difficult to find someone to be so responsive and good for such a small job. Plus he's licensed and insured. Thank you Rich!

I would like to give a shout out to Rick at R/K Tradesman. I contacted Rick via Yelp. I found him to be very polite and knowledgeable. I was seeking handyman services on a Sunday afternoon and got an immediately response. Rick went out his way to locate a handyman in my area. Not only did it save me money but he recommended a handyman that was reasonable and very knowledgeable in rebuilding lamps. Thanks Rick for your help and patience, that meant a lot to us ,in being fairly new in this state. If and when needs arises, I wouldn't hesitate to contact you.

We needed to have some security cameras installed along with some low Voltage pathway lights that also needed to be installed.

rich is the most talented plumber, electrician, etc, etc.
when people talk about handyman, this is what they want.
extremely detailed with the process! doing the job correctly, is what he is all about! he performs the project quickly and permanently! very knowledgable. when he is working on a job, at my house, i usually remember another job, for him to take care of while he's here! need a problem fixed, don't stress, call rich.

Update: I did not use his services, nor do I plan on it, not sure why he is offering my number to strangers for an honest review on how uncomfortable I was regarding this discussion when I called about checking to see if he was licensed, insured and vaccinated. Not only has he called me after posting this review but has offered my information because i posted a review on how I did not feel that the conversation was professional but the lack of concern for a global pandemic, my issues were not about his vaccination status or following his doctors orders but the comments that followed after that seemed to not have the seriousness of COVID. Interesting that he wants me fired for following my works request to check vaccination status.


Called for information and asked if he was licensed, insured and vaccinated. he spent the entire time talking about how I shouldn't worry about Covid spewing up every conspiracy theory when I was just trying to see if they are vaccinated. Because seems really misinformed and would not stop saying conspiracy theories, even eventually brought up immigration, not sure why but would not stop. No thanks.

To reply to his response, I let him know that I have members in my family who are drs who have data to support their information so I will continue to listen to them, as well as family who work in Texas and on the border and how helpful some research would be. Did not bring up any of this and was just trying to get an estimate from someone licensed insured and vaccinated. Not have a discussion on politics. Though his lack of understanding on an airborne virus is concerning enough to share for those wanting to keep their family safe.
