After over a decade in the electrical and lighting control industry in San Diego, I, Dave Shapiro, created RK Electric. Named after my two sons, Rider and Kainoa, RK is focused on service. From fundamental electrical work, to AV and automation solutions, we assist general contractors, home and business owners, and property managers in all areas of San Diego County.

I’d like to share a bit about myself. My name is Dave Shapiro, and I own RK Electric. My goal is to foster relationships built on excellent customer service, skilled electrical work, and reliability. On this journey, I’ve realized that what I cherish most at the end of the day are the opportunities to help. Whether it’s with my family, fellow tradespeople, or my clients, I strive to make a positive impact in the world, little by little.
