These guys are good and fast! Called up RJ to add some electrical outlets and install some new LED lights. They were very prompt and professional. They weren't the cheapest quote ( I try not to go with the cheapest quotes on jobs like electrical or contractors... Been burned too many time) their price was well worth job quality and service. Will defiantly use them any time I need an electrician. In fact I had my parents use them as well and they were just as impressed. Good job RJ!!

Is it possible to feel like family or part of a great group of friends when a contractor comes to the house?

It is if you called on RJ Electric. Sam, Frankie and Jaime came to our new house to install some recessed lighting, two fans, garage lighting, and fix some electrical work in the attic. They were great to do business with. They were professional yet very interactive and personally I found them hilarious. They also were willing to explain to you exactly what was going on and how they were going to do it, then they executed it.

OMG - can't believe I never wrote a review for this wonderful, efficient, reliable company last year. It's never too late to pass on a gem, right?

I won't tell you how much money I wasted with extremely expensive furnace repairs because the 'electrician' that first came out didn't properly diagnose the problem. Then he didn't return my phone calls. At wits end I turned to Yelp. There was one old review for RJ Electric but it resonated and I trusted my gut. I hit the jackpot!

I called RJ Electric that evening [it might have been a Sunday night?] figuring I would leave a message. Sam not only answered but scheduled my appointment for the very next morning after explaining the charges [flat rate unless it required major work]. Still to show up the very next morning was fabulous. They arrived on time too!

I gave him a quick synopsis [and my tale of woe] and he immediately checked the pane, found the problem and repaired it. He also checked the integrity of other circuits plus and the wiring to the furnace, asking relevant questions.

Because the misdiagnosis fried the computer part of the furnace, it again had to be replaced and I was charged another exorbitant service charge plus the part.

I would have saved hundreds of dollars had I called RJ Electric first AND taken his recommendation for an a/c repair professional.In fact a 5 star recommendation is not enough for RJ Electric. In addition to being a very competent and personable businessman, Sam is a wonderful resource. I highly recommend RJ Electric.

I had a short circuit in my living room, which melted the wiring in one of the power outlets. I explained my situation to the gentleman who answered my call, who informed me that they had an immediate appointment, and expliained their fixed fee approach for this situation.

The two guys arrived within 30 minutes and I explained the problem, expressing concern that I may need a new circuit or a rewire. After a look at the problem, they informed me that it was an isolated problem and not to worry. They gave me some other advice pertaining to the problem, and then got on with solving the short, and they were done within 20 minutes.

Very courteous, very professional, and very welcome back if I ever need more work done.

These guys are terrific. I lost power to part of my house and after calling a few electricians and getting quotes starting with ""$195 for the first hour, $75 per hour after that, and we can be there in a few days"" it was nice to have RJ offer flat rate billing _and_ make an appointment to arrive within a one hour timeframe the next day.

They showed up when they said they would, they fixed my electrical problems (including repairing a short in a new light fixture they were installing), they were very polite and professional, and the cost was totally predictable.
