We own a rental property in West Covina that was experiencing frequent power outages. So I searched on Yelp for the ideal electrician to diagnose and fix the problem, and I found Gabriel of Rivas Electric Solutions to highly rated reviews.

Gabriel came out to our rental property, troubleshooted the problem, and found and fixed the burnt wires in the attic. Gabriel was highly professional and helpful with the work. Not only that, I made a friend out of Gabriel!

I found Gabriel on Yelp as I needed electrical help and the person I used in the past moved out of the area. Gabriel came and fixed our ceiling fan with a new outlet and upstairs bathroom lights, again needed a new switch. We will definitely call on him in the future. Would recommend!

I contacted Gabriel last Friday afternoon and he was literally here at my home in less than 30 minutes to evaluate my needs and provide a quote.

He and Thomas came out on Wednesday and ran a new 240V. line into the inner wall cabinet so we could replace an old gas oven. He also added ceiling drops in 3 upstairs bedrooms that we've been wanting to put ceiling fans/lights in for as long as we've lived here.

They did a great job and both are extremely personable. I would not hesitate to recommend his services for electrical work done right and at a very fair price.

We bought our first house, which was super exciting. Super charming house built in the 1950's... but with that came with 1950's electrical and not up to date for what we needed for our EVs and smart home gadgets. Gabe was referred to us by our realtor and I'm glad he was. What initially was going to be just a much needed 100 amp panel to 200 amp panel upgrade for EV charging ended up being much more as I found other things I wanted to upgrade. Gabe was very accommodating to all my additional request and even when I had a change in plan with my recess lighting, he was able to walk me through what I needed to get to make my vision work, especially at our house which was a single story with vaulted ceilings and VERY limited and narrow attic crawl space, he was able to make it work and we're super pleased with how everything turned out and at a very fair price.

Recap of everything we had done to our 1950's home:
- upgraded our electrical panel to 200 amps and labeled all the wires
- added a tesla wall charger and additional 14-50 outlet
- added recess lighting throughout the place and upgraded the wiring for hit
- added Lutron smart light switches for me
- created a wall switch for a fan that was previously installed

Gabe is definitely the guy I would recommend and go to for any electrical work and will definitely use him on our next house in the future... and I'll be sure to find a place with more attic crawl space for him to make it a little easier haha

All the light and power went out at one area of my house. Gabriel worked patiently and checked every single possibility, and finally found a broken wire at the crawl space. His work is very clean and he never leave even a tiny piece of trash behind. His price is very reasonable. I couldn't be happier with his work.
