Transitioned away from the Bay Area into Sonoma County in the late 70s. Proudly serving this region, spanning the San Francisco Bay to Mendocino County, continuously. Always a small shop offering personalized service.
Being from California. The first memory I have from when I was two revolves around electrical work (a hairpin incident). That sparked my interest. Right after completing my studies from my degree at UC Berkeley, I started my contracting firm, and I’ve been dedicated ever since. Alongside my wife Kate, we brought up four amazing children in this beautiful area. Now we keep a flock of chickens.

Two Cent S.Ken was referred to me by a friend in the trades, and I am so grateful! He has been working diligently to do several upgrades on my house including replacing the main circuit breaker box/circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, and light switches. In the process he has also been finding and correcting some very questionable wiring. Ken's attention to detail is ultimately making my home a much safer environment, and I feel incredibly lucky to know he won't let anything slip through the cracks. Knowing that he will take the extra time to make sure the job is done right is reassuring beyond belief. Ken is also more than willing to explain what is going on which is very comforting and helpful. His attention to detail is impressive and I really can't say enough good things about him.
Doug S.Ken is smart, efficient, neat, and on-time. He isn't the electrician that you'd want if you were wiring 25 houses in a development and wanted him to come in $200 less than the next guy. He IS the guy you would want on a custom home or remodel when you wanted everything to be done absolutely right and the job site presentable at the end of the day. If I had an inspector coming in 3 hours and an issue to be fixed, there is no one I'd rather have working on the job than Risling.
He's the best electrician I know about and I had tried quite a few before I found him. I use him on all my remodels.
