This company is atrocious. If you want thousands in damage to your property, the job not installed as sold, and incompetent negligent employees that don't reply to you about concerns, then this is the place for you!! The owner hired his daughter as COO to protect him while she remains completely elusive and employees laugh in your face about how her and her daddy don't do anything at all or even bother coming in to work. The meth heads they send to your house damage things and lie. They refuse to reply to issues and then hound you for money like you're the asshole for not paying for terrible work. Hire someone else to save your sanity.

Contracted through Lowe's Installation Services for a Standby Generator installation.

Rikman Services/Master Diggers cut my properly marked gas supply line to my house while digging a trench for a generator installation on September 21st, 2023.
The workers left my property without notifying me of the fact that they had cut my gas line. They folded the gas line over and attempted to stop the leak with a tie down (picture). Rickman Services/Master Diggers left my property with a known active gas leak which could have killed me, my neighbor, and burned down both of our houses.
I inspected their work after they left, smelled a gas leak, and immediately called CenterPoint Energy, Rikman Services, and Lowe's.
Rikman and Master Diggers stated that the workers did not notify me (even though I was home) because their workers do not speak English (even though I had a conversation with them before they started work). Master Diggers was planning on returning later in the day to repair the gas line themselves. I was absolutely shocked to hear this. I'm willing to bet this is not the first time this has happened and Rickman Services/Master Diggers have patched (illegally) multiple natural gas lines they have cut.
No one is allowed to repair CenterPoint's gas lines but CenterPoint. Rikman and Master Diggers were attempting to save a few dollars by doing the repair themselves which would have put my life and property at great danger.

Rikman Services/Master Diggers also rendered my sprinkler system inoperable. It has been more than three weeks and they have yet to repair the sprinkler system.

Had a generator installed by Lowe's. The contractor was nice, but was NOT a businessman and the people who performed the work did a horrible job and there was zero follow through. I called Lowe's Corporate to complain. They fired the contractor and hired RIKMAN Services to do the job. Everything was done great! They kept me informed, showed up when they said they would, their folks were courteous and conscientious, and the work was done exactly to code...there were no shortcuts. I'm glad that Lowe's hired them and am glad that Rikman Services takes pride in a job well done.

our new Generac Generator was installed yesterday by Rikman and everything went smoothly . They should up on time plumber, electrician they all worked together.Front office staff was great also kept me informed about all the details . We have had other Generators installed before by other companies but Rikman has been the best by far. They are also affordable and if we ever need another generator we will definitely choose Rikman .

This company installed my whole house generator. The generator operates for five minutes a week so I guess installation was performed properly. During installation, two wires to my irrigation system were cut due to equipment being driven into the ground. On two occasions I attempted to speak with one of the owners as well as a second person who asked for details. My detailed emails remain unanswered to this day, six months after the fact. Their response is to ignore me and my communications.
I cannot say anything positive about this company other than already stated, and certainly will choose a different company for any work needed on my generator.

It was a month between delivery of my generator and the installation. However the installation was complete with no problems and no trash was left. The crew was polite and answered all my questions.

The poor service with this company continues. They finally installed my generator after months of delay. An error code came up on the generator which instructed me to contact the installer. I called the service department but the person had not heard of those codes but he would call me back. Two days later - no call. I am not going to use them for the annual maintenance and I will call another company to fix the problem. I can no longer deal with this company. Lowes needs to change contractors.

They could have better with communications, but this has been a rough year for a lot of folks. Had a generator installed yesterday (purchased from Lowes) and everything went great. These folks are very professional and friendly. The installers did an excellent job, walked us through the process and completed timely (they were definitely an ""A"" team.) They also walked us through the operations of the unit to make sure that we understood how it worked and maintenance.

I would recommend Rikman with the exception of communications.

Rikman installed our Generac generator, purchased from Lowe's. Andrew and Rodney worked hard, were very professional, explained everything very well, gave us a little tutorial along with the manuals, and cleaned up everything before they left. We were very happy with their work.
