Ridgeway Electric
Company Overview
Our business focuses on installing electrical panels, lighting installations, EV charging setups, upgrading electrical services, and control installations. We foster a team-oriented culture that prioritizes client satisfaction and high standards of quality.
Established in 1985, this company was created by a duo of partners who were experienced in the electrical field. One of the partners, the primary partner, Mike Jalilie, served as the general manager for a significant time before choosing to start anew and create his own company named Ridgeway Electric, inspired by his upbringing.
In the beginning, Mr. Jalilie aimed to reduce costs, and one of the important choices made was to establish a privately-owned shop. This choice offered greater flexibility when engaging with clients, and the extra income is reinvested with the employees.

Mike & his crew did a great job on the service upgrade done on my home.
They were very good at the details that went into the job, from permits, to inspection's. We are very happy with the results.
Thank You Mike & crew

Mike and crew are very professional and do outstanding work. Will always use them. I use them for residential and commercial jobs in the Bay Area!!

Ridgeway helped us out a lot by replacing some very old Electric in the church and putting in new. They recycled some second hand stuff they had on hand and the guys were easy to work with, flexible and professional. Would highly recommend.

I needed a ceiling light fixture installed where there wasn't an existing box and then wired to an existing light switch. They quoted me 2 electricians for 8 hours plus an additional 4 hours to do the job for $2,874. I guess this was their ""she's a single woman so she has no idea what things cost"" estimate. I hired another firm that did the job with one person, 1.5 hours, for $350. And they did a fantastic job. I cannot recommend Ridgeway Electric.

Received every excuse imaginable for an entire month and was never able to even get an appointment (so and so is on vacation, traveling, etc.). Promised to get back to me and never did. Don't waste your time.

Punctual and Professional.. Always nice to work with Mike and his crew of professionals in every sense of the word.
Thank you

Burlingame removed a tree in front of my house. After it was cut down they sent our Timberline Tree Service to grind the Stump. In the process they cut through the 220v . electrical line, phone line and cable TV line to the house. PG&E would not touch it, said we owned it, we had to get a private electrician to fix it. We got in touch with Ridgeway who came right out. You can not just splice a cut the whole run has to be replaced. We had Lindstrom do an underground bore for the 220v and phone, street to the garage service box, under the front lawn to inside the garage, about 75 feet. PG&E came out to inspect, and when the supervisor reached down in the ground he got a nice jolt. So he had Ridgeway do a temporary splice to the damaged wires, from the street box to the middle of the yard.
The the underground pipe was in and met code. But then you also have to upgrade the service box. Ridgeway put in a 200 amp box after Lindstrom enlarged the hole in the garage wall. In the process a new copper ground rod was required and Ridgeway took care of that. PG&E replaced the temporary wire and connected to the new service box. Ridgeway had connected the house wires and all was working again.
I have to say that Ridgeway did a great job. They were there almost everyday. They worked with Lindstrom and PG&E and got it done as quickly as possible. We did contract with PG&E, they now own the electrical wiring from the Street Box to the house. I don't foresee something like this happening again but it is now covered.

I have known Ridgeway Electric for 20 years , i was the GEN Manager for IHOP SSF FOR 20YEARS [ im retired now ] but MIKE and all the ''BOYS'' took care of everything we needed , he came and in 10 min he found the problem and fixed it.THEY ARE THE BEST ..

We had a small electrical job. I emailed Mike who responded right away. Matt came out to do the install. Matt was courteous, pleasant and did a great job. I would recommend Ridgeway for quality, prompt and efficient electrical service.

I was happy with their work. I needed an outlet installed in my house. I called Positive Electric at first. They sent me a totally incompetent person who told me the work will take 5 hours at least and at least $700. I was skeptical. The guy looked like he was really confused! So I called ridgeway electric and they told me it was an easy task that took a little less than two hours! The guy who came out was very professional, he brought booties with him and he covered the Carpet with paper for extra protection. I really liked that. The other company walked in their dirty shoes on my white carpet. I was satisfied with the final job of Ridgeway Electric as well! Will definitely call them again.
