Friendly and knowledgable, but bad follow-up.

Rick came over to conduct a general electrical inspection of our new home. He seemed very knowledgable, explaining things as he went. Overall, he didn't find much wrong, which was great. But he did note down a few things for us to consider taking care of. We paid him his fee, and that's where the less than satisfactory review comes in. He said he would email his notes to us, so we would have a record of his inspection, but he never did. My wife and I called/emailed him several times after the inspection, and no response. Very poor follow-up.

We had 2 electricians come out and say all ok. And the problem was not resolved! Rick comes out and is the only one to figure it out quickly and easily. I wasted a lot of money on those others; calling Rick from now on.

Does Rick really need another 5 * review? Probably not. So, I'll shorten you're reading time so you can get to calling him. He knows his stuff. He's on time. His pricing is fair - he'll never try to sell you anything you don't need. He actually suggested IKEA for some lights for my home mixing studio and he was spot on - sorry, only one pun per review, is that right? Lastly, he's a blast to talk to, especially if you like music.

Rick is awesome! I was in need of an electrician today to repair two broken lights in my kitchen. I called Rick and was pleasantly surprised for him to let me know he'd be able to come over right away to help me!
He came over and almost immediately knew the problem with the lights and fixed them.
I highly recommend Rick for your electrical needs!

Rick is great!
A problem developed with my halogen kitchen lights that required a professional. Looking through Yelps comments I decided on Rick and gave him a call. He asked a few questions then set a time and date that worked for me and he showed up on time and ready to work. Of course, like most stuff in my house it was not simple but Rick was able to diagnose the problem, plan a course of action, consult with me about the options and then fix the issue. It was a great job, great price with friendly and curious service that made the experience a pleasant one.
I highly recommend Rick!

Rick is the best. I had a few electrical needs at my condo, so I got a couple of bids. Although his estimate was slightly higher than another top-rated yelp electrician, I decided to go with Rick--because he seemed like a good guy who cares about doing good work. He ended up coming in under his estimate. A very nice surprise.

Rick is a punctual, nice, talented electrician. He and his assistant did excellent work. I will, without a doubt, call Rick for all of my future electrical needs.

Rick was SO informative on the phone. He basically told me what to do to fix my issue (even though it meant no service call for him). That is outstanding service and you know you can trust a guy like Rick. Will def use him in the future.

It actually turned out that I needed him to come over. Well given how great he is he was booked for TWO WEEKS. However, I was in a bind and after explaining my situation he zipped right over and saved the day.

I whole-heartedly give Rick 5 stars. What a great guy.
