This company remodeled my kitchen Aug. 2013. And here is my review.

The kitchen ended up with unleveled countertops because the base cabinets were not leveled. The countertop on the left side of the stove is 5/8 inch higher then the countertop on the right side of the stove. When I pointed it out. Mr. Richey, the owner of the company, ranted that it is not his responsibility to level the cabinet for the countertops. With his many years of remodeling business, how could he make customers proud of the kitchen with uneven countertops as he claims on his website, ""attention to details""?

The long wall where the stove sits by is a bumpy wall between the upper and base cabinets because he was cutting and patching the old drywall. He simply ignored our request for a lean, new drywall, a request before the contract. He brushed it off when I saw there was no attempt to tear off the greasy, old drywall.

The two base cabinets by the stove were not installed tight and seamless together as the rest of the cabinet in the kitchen. Again, he ranted, ""We did the best we could"".

The nails are showing through the molding on the cabinet by the side of the sink, and there is crack between the modeling and the bottom of the cabinet.

There is mark on the dry wall below the light switch by the kitchen entrance.
The new window in the kitchen was smudged with texture of drywall, left it as it was without cleaning. All these works were rushed through his hired worker from Mexico, who could only be here for the work those two weeks in August.

When his hired worker left for Mexico, there was some work left for Mr. Richey to finish, such as hooking up the faucet for the sink, dishwasher connection, the stove connection with the gas. He dragged the work for a while. And, he told me, ""I just want you to know that our work is still on time"". Boys, I had been washing dishes in the utility sink in that steaming hot garage alone for four weeks, and I can't get to use the new kitchen a few days earlier!!!

It is claimed that the company is family operated. Well, one of his sons was involved in this project only for two or three days the first week of this remodeling, like I have said he hired the worker who lives in Mexico.

Guess What!!! Beside what I was supposed to pay him according the contact, he asked for $1000.00 more because his son was working here in my kitchen, and his son is not cheap to hire. That is exactly what he told us. Watch out guys!!

Watch out for your lawn too. He threw all the junk on the lawns. He dumped the leftover drywall patch mixed with water into the lawn. Among all the green you see a white patch that would not go away on its own.
