This guy was awesome! We hired him based on yelp reviews & plus every company I called were way overpriced. He quoted us over the phone and his price was very reasonable. He installed ceiling fans in our bedroom and living room. Was very nice, efficient, on time, and he even had covers for the furniture. He did however let us know that since we didn't have a j - box that there would be holes he would have to make, which sucks but he explained to us how to patch it up and even gave us a box of screws. Oh & when I tried to tip him but he gave it back to us and told me to buy something for my Lil ones who were running around everywhere HA! :) very sweet man! Will hire him again for another job we want to get done in the future. Would def recommend him to everyone I know!

I called Richard Piselli Electric out for a problem at my mother's home. Richard located a short circuit in the wall behind the dishwasher. After replacing a short piece of power cable the problem was resolved. Richard even replaced a faulty AC receptacle in another room at no extra charge. I would certainly use him again.

Richard installed all new wiring to our garage for a washer and dryer for our rental unit behind our house. He was prompt in arriving, provided options for pricing and wiring and did a great job! He vented the dryer and it works great. We will be contacting him again to inquire about adding recessed lighting in our living areas and master bedroom. Would definitely recommend him and his work!

What a wonderful experience with an Electrician!! It would have been nice to actually meet him. As we all know this week in September has been a brutal one as the heat goes. My AC fuse kept resetting and I was unable to keep my home cold. We were all suffering. With no relief in sight, I turned to Yelp called up the guy top on the list...and go figure....no answer and no return call. So after a bit of review I chose Richard. He answered his phone and made himself immediately available. I was unable to get away from work so I had a neighbor meet up with him. He was able to quickly asses that the fuse I needed was not readily available. He waited at my home for me to locate one and to no avail. He did have some magic with his screw driver. Don't ask me, but my AC has been working ever since. Richard claimed he was unable to really fix anything and in return did not expect payment. WOW!! Shocked!! I will be calling him and his magic Screw Driver again!! Thank you Richard!!

Over the weekend on Sunday 8/17/2014 lost power to a whole set of 120 volt outlets and lighting in one of our bathrooms. While I've got an electrical engineering degree with many years of experience, I knew only an ""expert"" could figure this mess out. In checking Yelp for electricians in Chula Vista early yesterday, it was apparent to me from the get-go that only Richard possessed the complex problem solving skills that I needed to resolve this problem. So I placed the call and got an appointment with Richard the next day on Monday 8/18/2014. Just like the reviews I read in Yelp, Richard quickly diagnosed the problem within a few minutes, replaced a bad 120 volt outlet, and restored power to all the remaining outlets and lighting in the bathroom. Wow! - now that's service! With regard to cost, I can say Richard's fee was less that any of the other quotes I got, and, his communication and attention to details top-tier / top-notch / A+++. If you've got a job that you want done right, done quick, and at a competitive price, Richard is your man! Richard installed a ceiling fan in our dining room and we were very pleased. When my husband first called Richard he was very helpful in answering questions and giving advice on choices of fans and what we would need. We had an existing ceiling fan with lighting and we wanted to change the style. We were trying to avoid the pool chain on the fan and light, so Richard suggested a remote that goes on the wall. Richard was punctual and very neat. He used a drop cloth before installing the fan. After he arrived he noticed the remote we had was not compatible to the fan. He suggested my husband go to Home Depot and exchange the remote while he installed the fan. Richard gave my husband all the information necessary. When my husband was at Home Depot the sales associate told him there was no such remote and more work needed to be done to install this remote. My husband called Richard from Home Depot and told him what the sales associate told him, and Richard asked to speak to the sales associate and explained what we needed. It took not more than 2 minutes for Richard to explain to the sales associate what we needed. The sales associate then realized that Richard knows what he's talking about. Richard installed both the fan and remote in less than two hours. He is very knowledgeable, professional, polite and knows his stuff! He walked us through on how to operate the remote and asked if we wanted him to explain it to us again until we felt comfortable. The fan came out beautiful. We haven't had any trouble. I've already lined him up for other work we need done in our new kitchen and will definitely recommend him to family and friends. The price he quoted us never changed and it was very reasonable.

Called around to get quotes for running a line to my back patio for a hot tub and new AC unit. Rich was the only person who was able to come and look at the job sooner than a month out. Rich came by and appraised the job, gave me an estimate and we set a date for the work. Rich showed up on time, ready to go and jumped in to the job. I ""helped"" out a bit with the job and Rich was very knowledgable and professional and I managed to learn a few things. Rich completed the job in a very timely fashion, despite my ""help"" and the price was very fair for the work being completed. Rich Piselli has my highest recommendation for electrical work and I will certainly be calling him again should I need electrical work done in the future.
