Wow! After 4 months of half my household plugs not working I was told by a friend to contact Richard. I found another electrician as I was pressed for time but I found Richard to be very reasonable priced and polite. I would've gone with him had my other electrician not reached out. I would go to Richard on price alone. He's the type that won't charge you what others are charging you for a simple, quick job.

I called the business to find out if they would service the area I live and get a rough estimate on cost based on describing the job.
Instead, while the phone the was still ringing I received a text from them that simply read: ""Please text me."" I asked why, explaining that it would be more efficient to discuss over the phone. I didn't even get a reply to the text.
I understand. This might be a one-man business and if that's the case, they could have very well been on a job. I also understand that many people are entirely comfortable going back and forth on text. Frankly, I don't mind going back and forth over text after I've already engaged with the business. At the point I received the text, it could be considered rude since their phone was still ringing. It would almost be better to let the call go to voicemail and return the call when they have time to talk. Maybe with an outgoing message that lets the caller know they're likely busy on another job.
Richard Craig Electric has great reviews. Their poor judgement in texting back a person that's calling; while they're calling does not reflect their ability to perform electrical services. Sadly, I won't find out.

Life savers, right here. I can't say enough. Our house caught on fire, first with the lines to the pole, then the house. I bit traumatic, and Richard saved the day! We were up and running with a new panel in just two days and I even ended up with a generator and a couple of extra things. We will be calling again should the need arise, for sure.
