We had a 100 amp panel that was completely fried and Rey was able to replace it with a 200 amp panel, repair the stucco on the wall in just half a day! Two days later the inspector came, approved the work and we're done! Thanks Rey! Definitely recommend!

Yay, we've found our go-to electrician! Rey just replaced the electrical panel at our new home. It was the original box from 1962 and we wanted to replace and upgrade it. The setup was apparently a bit more complicated than most, because two other electric companies we called came out to look and never bothered to get us a quote to do the job. Rey gave us a quote on the spot and started the work ASAP. He also did some other things throughout the house - installing lights, taking down hardwired fixtures we didn't want, etc. I really appreciated that he communicated with us throughout - many of the other contractors we had working on the house were not as good at keeping us updated, and chasing people down for updates was the last thing I wanted to have to do while packing to move, etc. As the panel upgrade progressed and things got more complicated than anticipated Rey went with the flow and got the job done. He and his partner did excellent work at our home and were friendly, honest, and very reasonably priced.

My first review due to a job well done. Rey came to trouble shoot why my part of the outlets in my house had no power. He found the trouble on the main panel and advised me to contact SCE. SCE crew found the problem were missing screws that made intermittent contact but did not fix it due to liability issue. I contact Rey again and he came back to resolve it free of charge. I would definitely recommend him.

We recently contacted Rey Electric because of the recommendations on Yelp. We are so glad we did. They are honest and fair priced. We thought we had a bad breaker plus there were several electrical jobs we wanted done. We called, they came out that day. Instead of having to replace a breaker, the owner said that maybe a spray of WD-40 with oil would do the trick for a balky breaker. It did and that saved us a bunch of money. We had the company install 7 recessed lights (on his recommendation about 3 less than I thought I needed), fixed a ballast on a fluorescent light in the kitchen, installed a fixture in the laundry room and fix a doorbell that had not worked in years. They arrived in time on the day they said they would. The owner and crew were very courteous, worked for about 4-5 hours, protected our furniture well and cleaned up perfectly. We could not be more happy with the work and we now can see to read with all the new lighting. We highly recommend.

Rey does amazing work. I called him first time in a pinch needing a quick swap of my ceiling ventilation fan in my bathroom, and he came same day with a new one, which he picked up. That's great service right there.

I originally found rey electric through Yelp. Rey came out and gave me an estimate to upgrade the electric service in a new house in Whittier. I hired him to upgrade the electric and ultimately rewire the entire house. It was a big job and they did great work. I've used a lot of contractors over the past 30 years in my business and found Rey to be right up there with the best I've ever worked with. They were on time, thorough, and very professional from start to finish. Rey has a good crew and was on site to supervise them continually. His response to questions and issues by phone calls and text messages was instantaneous. I have since continue to use him and will be happy to work with him in the future

If you are looking for electrical work, Rey Electric is the company to call. Professional, clean, great communication, patient, friendly, no nonsense straight forward estimates, no up selling, reasonable pricing, and honest.

I needed some electrical outlets redone and rerouted for a store and these guys even worked on Thanksgiving! They knew exactly what they needed to do and kept me updated on the work. They even did extra work at no extra cost because they wanted it done right.

If you came to yelp looking for a trustworthy electrician like I did, these are your guys.

After reading several very positive Yelp review of this company, I called them up. Got a voice mail when I called them around 10am, but received a call back within 5 minutes from Ray. I had a problem with one of the old 20A breaker in my house that I know needs to be replaced anyway. So half of my house has no power and Ray was able to fix/replaced it fairly quickly and even helped me figure out another problem I had at home with my central A/C unit; all done without asking for more $$. He charge a reasonable price and a tip was added for his willingness to help without asking for more money up front. I would definitely use Ray again in the future for any electrical needs and would recommend him to others as well. Thank You Ray!

I was having electrical issues at my residence due to my old fuse box, so I called Rey based on these outstanding Yelp reviews. He came over the same day and explained in detail what needed to be done. Rey was able to accommodate me the same week for a new electrical panel! Rey Electric did an excellent job and they were a pleasure to deal with!
