I experienced similar bad service with this company. My home warranty dispatched them to repair my ceiling fan. The guy came and literally quickly looked at the fan for a min without running any test and told me it was not covered. He couldn't even tell me what was wrong.

About 2 weeks ago our whole house fan just quit working. When switched on, the ceiling vanes wouldn't open and the fan made a loud screeching sound not blowing air. We were referred to RENDON ELECTRIC through our AHS home warranty. They set a morning appt. that fit my schedule. ""Jaime"" texted before he came w/expected arrival time. He was punctual, had his ladder on his shoulder and tools in hand when he arrived. Jaime Introduced himself and was business friendly. I showed him to the attic entrance where he set up his ladder. I handed him the fan remote control and he got to work . He was here busily working on the house fan for about 15-20 minutes. When he finished he explained what was fixed, and like his entrance had his equipment gathered and was back out the door in one trip. Our house fan is back to working very well. We are very satisfied with Jaime's ability and the work he did here for us. We would use them again if we have an electrical repair in need.

This is the worse electrical company that I went through my home warranty Electrician Jaime pacifically.

Came out today Monday March 13th 2023 to test the panel and overload on my electrical outlets. They gave me a frame window between 10 AM to 2 PM. He showed up around 11:30 AM.

At that time I was out and my family were at home when he got there he didn't do any testing he called directly through my family to ask me what is the issue and I told him it's overloading and I mentioned that to them it's keep overloading from the minute that they scheduled the appointment.

Home warranties do not cover apparently overload panels or any replacement for any panels of overloading and they were aware of that.

I was leaving where I was heading home and I was about 4 to 7 minutes away from the house. He called again through my family member and I mentioned to him I don't understand him over the phone once I get there I need him to show me what he exactly that and what kind of testing did he run?

I got there in actually 4 1/2 minutes to be precise and I see my family member outside telling me that he's just literally left.

I tried calling him and he was very unprofessional and he told me to call my home warranty or wait for them to call me while I'm on the phone with him. I realize that the home warranty is calling me so I hanged up in his face because he was very unprofessional And I don't have time with someone like that to deal with.

I spoke to the home warranty and they told me that he ran some tests and I don't believe he did run anything because he's only been there for less than 30 minutes walking around seeing outlets only he didn't even check the panel or the overload or he didn't even tell me where is the overload a worst section in the house is the overload at And what is the proper procedure to fix that issue?


He he just wanted to get paid for that coming out here under the home warranty and walk away really quickly because if he would actually deal with this, it will take longer and it will cost more money and he doesn't wanna do that. He just want to do that quick rip off situation under the home warranty make that quick money and walk away.

I will never allow them to come back ever again over here, and a formal complaint was made to the home warranty for their own nonsense testing.

I do not recommend this company at all.

Sent out by American Home Shield. I informed their dispatch of the issue, light fixture needs replacing, and they sent someone out. When they arrived they told me that it wasn't covered by the warranty and then left. Why wasn't I told this initially? Because Rendon wanted to get their service fee from AHS. Terrible business practice. A ""legal"" robbery basically. I guess I paid 125 to learn a lesson. Yay.

First, I want to say I hate to do reviews but I'm doing this one because the weight of negative reviews don't match my experience at all.

I feel like when homeowners choose to use their home warranty they should first contact the warranty company to see what their warranty does and doesn't cover. This is what the rep at Rendon Electrical recommended to me before I moved forward with their services and I truly appreciate this. If you want to make the best financial choices you have to do your homework.

Now for the service it self- Jaime was very clear in explaining what the electrical issue was and what he needed to do to fix it. He was intentionally clean and respectful of the space he worked in. He also provided home improvement recommendations to ensure my home is safe for very person living in it. I appreciated everything he did and will higher this company in the future.

Sent out by ProConnect (American Home Shield, Home Warranty) - DO NOT USE THEM!!! Not only are they HIGHLY OVERPRICED, their quote was over $2,500, we had another licensed electrician complete the job the next day for $450..BUT they called and texted over a DOZEN TIMES less than 24 hours after the inspection to collect their service fee of $99 and threatened collections, whaaaaat? It hasn't even been a day. They are just a mess and all over the place - apparently the technician is also the owner, but the office has no communication within itself and is so poorly ran, just do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY. On Jaime's (tech/owner) phone after the appointment he told me to select 'decline quote, 'thinking about it' ... but I didn't want to as that wasn't my reason, 'decline quote 'price too high' was closer to the reason' so that's the reason I selected. The next screen gave me multiple discount options like 15% off the quote...Jaime quickly turned the phone away and went to the previous screen and chose 'thinking about it' himself. Ummmm okay....thanks. Read the reviews, just look at the stars and trust actual people that used this company and met these people.

Rendon Electric's customer service is awful. I have had multiple repairs at my rental property in the last few months and all vendors left their repair invoice at the rental property or e-mailed to me within 24 hours, except Rendon Electric. Normally not a huge deal, however I needed all of these invoices to submit to a third party today as proof of repairs.

Rendon Electric, sent out by American Home Shield, completed the repair at my rental property on October 12, 2020.

On October 22 I left a voicemail for Rendon asking they send me an invoice. No reply.

On October 23 I called Rendon, again no answer so I again left a voicemail asking for invoice. No reply.

On October 23 I contacted American Home Shield, who put me on hold to try to contact Rendon, and what do you know Rendon answered their call right away. AHS told me Rendon said I had to e-mail them with my e-mail to obtain an invoice. So, with the e-mail provided to me by AHS, I sent Rendon an e-mail. The e-mail address came back invalid. So, yet again I called Rendon, guess what NO ANSWER. I left a third voicemail, explaining what the issue was. Later that day I actually received a call from Elizabeth Ortiz, Dispatch Manager, who provided correct e-mail. I immediately sent the e-mail stating I needed the invoice today (10/23/20). No return e-mail. No invoice. No return call.

On October 26 I send another e-mail to Elizabeth explaining I needed the invoice this morning. Two hours later she replied stating she would send in the afternoon. I replied, now VERY frustrated, stating the time it took to reply to my e-mail she could have just attached the invoice. I also advised her their customer service was unbelievably bad.

It is now 6:00 p.m. on the 26th - and guess what - no invoice, no e-mail, no call.

You can do the BEST work, in whatever your profession may be, but without good customer service your business's work product means nothing.

I do not like leaving bad reviews. It may seem trivial, but missing my deadline to turn in my invoices is not trivial to me - something this small should have been taken care of right away, especially if the customer is reaching out. It's not like I am disputing the work, the payment, etc. It does not take 22 days to provide an invoice for a repair than only took an hour or so.

A call has been placed to AHS about my complaint and to ensure they never send this company for repairs at my property again.

Do better Rendon Electric!
