Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Remedy Electric in Lakeway for some great work recently completed at our home. We installed a charger for our car and a whole house surge protector. They were very courteous, friendly, and worked hard to not wake up our 18mth old. Even better, I asked for bids from a few electricians, and Remedy was 60% lower than one of the bids I received and was the best overall. Highly recommend.

House in Avery Ranch West with electrical issue tripping two breakers, one in garage and one outside. Kevin took his time and methodically found where the problem was. Turns out a previous renter had installed a ceiling fan and when they left, they took their fan and wrapped the wires with black tape. The hot wire was shorting out against the ground inside the housing. Also fixed a long standing issue we have had with three way switches in living room. Glad I called the right person. Cost was reasonable for the amount of time it took to get it all straightened out. Will call again if i need an honest electrician in this area.

Terrible customer service at their home office. Technicians are nice, but when one office messes up the time of the appointment and then tells you, you cannot be refunded. Choose a different electrician - you cannot afford to use them and don't have time for their office antics! Use someone else!

Have used this service on two other occasions. Both were excellent. When I called for the appointment today I reminded them that I was a repeat customer. My estimate appointment was scheduled from 9-10 am. No call and no show. Tried to call. Left a message and also sent a text. Very disappointed. Just wasted my morning.

I am SO grateful that we found Remedy. They are an increasingly rare find of honest, reliable, and knowledgeable service professionals who put their clients' best interests first. I couldn't ask for more. For those interested in the details, here is our tale of woe and how Remedy helped us through it. My husband I recently bought some rental property and had a handyman perform some electrical work for us. Within a few days of occupancy, the tenants reported an electrical problem. I called Remedy and spoke with Theresa, who was very understanding and responsive. She sent a crew out the next day and they immediately Identified the problem and repaired it at a reasonable price. A week later, the tenants called again with another problem and again, Remedy came through for us. Though their recommendation to fix the problem was more than I expected to spend, I realized after much research that their recommendation was really in our best interests from a risk and financial perspective as well as for the long term health of the electrical system and house. I really appreciated that they took the risk to recommend what was best for us. Since they had proven themselves to be trustworthy, I decided to have them look at all of the electrical work that our handyman had done. What we found was that the handyman's work was not to code and his work exposed us to risk and long term damage to the property. I wish we had called Remedy to begin with. Last but definitely not least, I called Remedy for an electrical problem at another property and they discovered that the problem wasn't an electrical problem but a problem with the light fixture and they fixed it at no cost. I feel so much more confident and comfortable knowing that we have them on our team and can call on them when we need them.
