Got my generator started today, just in time for Irma. Frank was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Good ""Reliable"" service. Would recommend them.

UN-RELIABLE Power Systems. Choose another company because these guys are the pits. Took over 6 months to get the generator installed and their workmanship failed 5 yes 5 inspections by the Palm Beach County Building officials. Very scattered and disorganized company--never showed up for appointments when scheduled and they took over a month just to submit for permits. Working with this company was a terrible experience and as a local real estate agent, I'd caution my clients to stay away from this shoddy company. The worst!

If we could give zero stars, we would. Bad install, bad customer service, work not compliant to code. Be prepared to fix things they break. Beware.

They definitely live up to their name. Called for service for an outlet in my bathroom that kept burning up and they responded quickly. Not only was the tech courteous and clean and informative. But he also took care of my issue & fixed the wiring besides replacing the outlet. I would definitely recommend and use them again .

The entire nite that Irma hit we were praying not to lose power , As I'm sure many of you were too. Dodging the bullet I decided that I can't stand the possibility of losing power, So we will call Reliable to get an estimate of a home generator installed. The storm was over about a week and a recored message stated that they were extremely busy , to have patience and a rep would get to us . OK very understandable given the circumstance.
So about a week later , I received a phone call. The man on the phone stated that , he will give me an estimate over the phone without coming out to see . Hum.. Ok he asked if if have gas service , size of my home and community of where I live . I told him I wanted the entire home hooked up for backup , not partial.
Have stated that "" based on the size of your home , we recommend a Genarac 22 watt air-cooled generator, also I would need assorted wiring and switching boxes ..blah blah blah , the cost 17k .. I asked about the propane tank and lines etc , he stated and I quote "" This is additional"", Becoming frustrated , I asked him how are you going to fuel the system without propane since I told you we have no gas on the property. I asked him to give me total price for everything . He stated we don't do that , after proding him further . he stated that the whole entire system would run me about 25k ...25k? 25K ? "" Are you outta your freaking mind "" 25K , I have received 2 other estimates from other companies and you are no where near the others.. The fact that you would quote me a price like that . Well you guys did me a BIG favor

I AM HAPPY TO SAY I HAVE CONTRACTED WITH A BIG BOX STORE. THEY ARE DOING THE ENTIRE JOB , PERMITS TO LANDSCAPING TANK GENERATOR SWITCHES LINES ETC.. 16K ... ALMOST 10K LESS.. Either you have a beginner as your sales rep . or you guys are the biggest crooks out there .. PEOPLE IF YOU ARE LOOKING ...SHOP AROUND AND GET SEVERAL QUOTES .. or Better yet read the treads and judge yourself

You are now, over a month later willing to view my video that reveals your employee did not replace or add oil to my generator as my receipt/invoice indicates and inspect my generator.
UNLESS I was willing to pay an additional $200 for your tech to come out to my home on Sept 14 2017 which is the date your employee scheduled me. I called, I emailed, and I sent a registered letter all with no response for a month!!! Sad state of affairs I must say! I noticed that you also addressed other negative reviews here today, looks like damage control.

FYI, not only did it take 6 days to get a call back from this outfit (OK, I know they were busy with IRMA issues, but the gal on the phone sure didn't have anything to do with working in the field), but, get this - you ready to get fleeced?

Before they'll come out for the $150 / hour service call, you have to buy their ""Service Package"" where they'll come out twice a year to do things you don't need done for a standby portable generator, for ONLY $395. Yes, $395 + the $150 hour service call. So $550 to tell you you're generators broke. Guess I'm in the wrong line of business!

Wow, you guys suck. Don't mind paying for the on site service, but sticking on unnecessary nonsense for a huge sum - really? What's your other line of business, selling used cars?
