Our A/C stopped cooling on a 90+ degree Saturday. I called Reliable, and Chris, the owner, was at our house within an hour. He explained everything as he looked for the problem. When he got to the capacitor, he showed me the voltage range it should be. It was dead. He then showed me the voltage from the capacitor that he took out of his van, and it showed the correct voltage immediately. Once he installed it, our unit was up and running. This guy is passionate about what he does, and he cares about his customers. Five stars, two thumbs up!

Called Reliable Air for repair and made appt. for a Friday. Friday comes and he called and said called him back in 20 minutes. As I couldn't answer right away, I called him back and he cancelled my appt. since I didn't called back in 20 minutes. All booked up for the next two weeks. Instead of being reliable, his business should be called ""Unreliable"". You better be careful if you are going to dealing with this company.

I called Chris, the owner of Reliable Heating and Air because my AC was not keeping up with the house. Long story short, he spent a large portion of the day ""troubleshooting"" and ended up telling me I needed a whole new unit. I called another company, and they came out and said it was one specific part that was bad. It's since been replaced by the ""other"" company, and I have had no issues. Be very careful when dealing with this company. He tried to get away with charging me for a whole new unit when it was literally a $200 part that was bad.

We filed a claim with our warranty company because the heat went out on our unit. It was assigned to Reliable. We called Reliable and texted him four times with no response. It is now 24 hours without heat and 56 degrees in our house. I called warranty company back and apparently Chris, the owner, turned the job down. You would think a quick return phone call yesterday to let us know he did not take the job would be the decent thing to do. It would have taken one minute of his time to call or text, so here we are, leaving a one star review for lack of common courtesy.

I called Chris, the owner, when I came in from a trip on Tuesday evening to an extremely hot house. Chris was at my house about 30 min later, diagnosed the problem, found parts on his truck, made repairs, cleaned up his mess and the huge mess in my attic left by whoever the prior homeowner hired to make repairs before we bought the house...I highly recommend this very informative and professional gentlemen to take care of any problems with your heating/cooling system.

Let's start with I placed a home warranty claim for my A/C unit failure and was told to contact Chris at Reliable. I have to admit, he squeezed me in in the pouring rain to diagnose my failure. That's is where it went down hill. He ended up replacing the fan motor with the wrong one( said it was universal), and replaced the capacitor. Little did we know, he ran the mounting screw( which was too long) right through the condenser coil causing a massive Freon leak. He says he sent pictures, email, and diagnosis to warranty company who then sits on the approval for days saying they need more information from the vendor. I call every day, and Reliable refuses to budge or do any more communication. Now I know why, because he caused the major failure and won't admit it. He then declines to finish the job and never returns my phone calls. I then have to call the warranty co. back. Complain until they send another vendor out, who confirms Reliable screwed up the system and tells me they follow him around fixing his mistakes all the time. They end up doing the same thing with not returning phone calls and end up declining the service. At this point, it is almost two weeks without A/C.
I finally realize that these home warranty companies must find the worst vendors that will agree to do the job and not want to pay.
I end up contracting my own service provider who ends up replacing the entire system to the tune of $5800 dollars, all because of a contractor not knowing what he is doing.
I would never recommend Reliable heat and air. BEWARE !
