Had a set appointment scheduled and Reliable Electric cancelled on me. I had already rescheduled my afternoon so I could be home, but that didn't matter to them. They said the earliest they could reschedule was in two weeks.

Overcharge is an understatement! You can get the same work done for 70% less and by more reputable companies like RCB Electric. We were hoping RES was reliable and assumed we would hire them and didn't blink about the $89 service call, but their $2280 quote was a joke. RDC performed all the work and then some for $594 dollar. Please, give your money to charity, not Reliable Electrical Services!

Reliable is just that, reliable. They installed our generator at the price quoted and on time. They always were on-time for appointments and communicated throughout the process. One of the best contractors worked with since moving to Florida 23 years ago. Highly recommend this company!

THE WORST!!! Despite having an issue that required fairly quick resolution, I scheduled a Saturday appointment a week in advance as my work schedule could not accommodate earlier. I agreed to pay a higher charge for the Saturday appointment. Friday at 5 pm, I was contacted to advise that they had no electrician that could come on Saturday. They could care less the inconvenience caused to me and offered nothing as an alternative. I advised that it was their responsibility to ensure they had someone to fulfill the scheduled appointment and I was told they could not make someone work beyond their 40 hours. REALLY??!!

I called several companies to get a service contract on my generator. When I reached Reliable, they were the most professional and competive with their pricing. Once they came out to service the generator, Leo was very courteous and prompt! Any time I call or they need to make an appt with me, they are there when promised.

I have very mixed emotions about this company. The service people who came out seemed professional and knowledgeable. But, the follow-up was not as satisfying. Originally I was going to install a whole home generator, but when that proved to be too involved due to code constraints, I decided on upgrading my electrical service to accommodate a portable generator. Reliable Services made the plans and did the work. When the city came out, there was additional work that needed to be done in order to put the service to code. This was going to be another $3,000. OUCH!!! I would've expected the professionals, Reliable Services, to know what the codes were, and had I known the expense up-front, I may have reconsidered the job. So, I let the permit sit open (unfinished). While Reliable offered to do the job for $2400.00, I later found a licensed electrician who was able to bring the job up to code for a fraction of the cost- $600.00; and it passed inspection (although there was a minor issue with the work Reliable did which they were unresponsive to). So along story with a happy outcome with little thanks to ""UnReliable"" Services.

It was a please to deal with Reliable Electrical. Their intake caller was polite and professional, and Kevin did a marvelous job. They spent the whole day installing fixtures and rerunning cable wires. All very clean and professional. He even took the time to adjust a light fixture after it was hung so that I was 100% happy.

This company charges 2-3 times more than any other licensed electrician but you won't find that out until your stuck paying their $89 quote fee. They also canceled on me and rescheduled at last minute. Don't waste your time or money!

Very disappointed. Paid over $1500 to change kitchen high hats to LED , change batteries in existing smoke alarms and fix one exterior flood fixture. Flood fixture Never fixed. Smoke alarms still chirping and they only changed 4 of the 6 high hats. A complete ripoff !

Ronnie and his helper were professional, friendly and honest. They listened to my electrical concerns, answered my questions, provided their feedback and advice. I was provided with a couple of quotes to choose from, then they went right to work. The outcome is exactly what I wanted. They went above and beyond. I will be calling them back, when more work is needed. It's so hard to find honest and reliable work - I am glad I found them.
