They should be called UNRELIABLE Electric they're so bad. Took them 4 months to install a main breaker box and the have left the permit open. They charged me more for the same services as other businesses. Then after spending almost $4,000 they don't value you as a client. I do NOT recommend UNRELIABLE Electric.

When I called to get a ballpark estimate for replacing my electrical panel, the representative wanted too much contact information upfront. That made me uneasy - as that ""smells"" like a marketing/sales ploy. Then he started in on information suggesting a rep would have to come out to my home to provide an estimate. I can tell you from decades of life experience that is the sign of a company I don't want to do business with -- it is the hallmark of pushy sales techniques and overselling you, if not outright lying. I told him other companies (BBB A+ rated companies) I've talked with provided estimates over the phone, and I was terminating the call. Bye bye. As a consumer advocate I recommend you find another company to do business with. Caveat Emptor.

Inability to repair a generator properly and no response to emergency calls for service after power went out and 70kw generator didn't start.

We had a quick connect breaker lockout system installed yesterday by Reliable. The two guys that did the install could not have been nicer or more efficient. During the course of the work, they had to relocate one circuit to our inside panel to make everything work and that was done quickly.

At the conclusion of the work, we hooked up our generator to test things and it was flawless. They supplied us with a brief video showing all steps that need to be executed the next time a big storm rolls through here.

Also, additional thanks go to Amy in the office, she kept us up to date on the ordering of parts and scheduling. We could not be happier, great outcome.

Extremely overpriced, prompt and polite but very expensive, all the parts were 5 to 10 times what they would be at the Hardware store or online. Labor was done quickly and professionally but again extremely expensive. They were instructed TWICE that some of the lights were 25 feet above the floor and needed replaced. My wife was assured their trucks were fully equipped and would be able to fix the light. When the technician arrived he said it was not his truck and that they would have come back he did not the necessary equipment.

If I could give no stars, I would. For me, Reliable Electric was very UNRELIABLE! I set up an appointment for the same day I called and was told someone would be out between 12 and 4, No show, Then I get an email with an apology and they say I'll be first on their schedule the next morning - never showed. Then I get another email saying they'll waive the $89 service fee for the next visit, and no one responded to my email requesting a day and time. I will not be calling them again! They obviously don't care!!

Had a set appointment scheduled and Reliable Electric cancelled on me. I had already rescheduled my afternoon so I could be home, but that didn't matter to them. They said the earliest they could reschedule was in two weeks.

Overcharge is an understatement! You can get the same work done for 70% less and by more reputable companies like RCB Electric. We were hoping RES was reliable and assumed we would hire them and didn't blink about the $89 service call, but their $2280 quote was a joke. RDC performed all the work and then some for $594 dollar. Please, give your money to charity, not Reliable Electrical Services!

Reliable is just that, reliable. They installed our generator at the price quoted and on time. They always were on-time for appointments and communicated throughout the process. One of the best contractors worked with since moving to Florida 23 years ago. Highly recommend this company!
