My solar project which included photovoltaic panels as well as storage batteries was over $80,000 was completed at the end of 2022 and 4 months later has still not passed state inspection. Regis electric did not inform me of the equipment changes they made that caused the inspection failure until I demanded an explanation of the failure.Nor did they promptly resubmit the drawings to the state so that I can claim the tax deductions. I would avoid this company for their complete lack of transparency and their obvious inability to do a proper installation.

Have Enphase system installed. PV System not producing power. Regis came out. Determined Envoy gateway needed to be replaced. 3 weeks & $1300.00 later, I have the same issue again.

If you are researching solar PV and Regis is the lowest cost bid, my recommendation is to use Regis. They do quality work and work well with their customers. They are also installing quality equipment that should last care-free for years and will provide the energy that is expected.

From first contact with office staff, everyone was clear, thorough, and professional. Field workers were the same. Only negative in the PV installation was HELCO's long approval process, but the staff at Regis did their best to keep me updated throughout. System was tailored to our needs, and it works perfectly. Highly recommend!

We asked Regis for a electric bid on a garage addition, updates to our house and a Solar system for our house. The solar was for a 25 to 30KWH system with battery backup. Regis provided us with the separate electric bids; he gave us 2 different solar bids about $10,000 apart. I sent a list of questions on the solar bid. Then our contractor and we found his garage bid to be significantly higher than 2 other bids, so we declined it. Regis was upset and called us complaining that we didn't give him a chance to lower his bid--totally unprofessional. He also then cancelled his bid for the house electrical work and later the same day, declined to work with us on solar. He never answered any questions about his solar bids, even though he had them over a week. Regis acted extremely unprofessionally, declining to answer questions and acting like a child who took his football home when he was taken out of the game. I don't recommend him.
