James and his team were very responsive and sent an estimate via email within an hour of contacting them. Other electricians wanted to charge for a site visit or didnt have availability for a long time. From initial outreach to install complete was about 7 business days.

The work itself went well and the install was finished within a couple hours. Will hire again the next time I need an Electrician.

The recessed lights in our kitchen started flickering and one went out all together. I submitted a request on Yelp and Reese Electric responded right away, provided me a fair quote and scheduled my appointment in a very timely manner. I was shocked how quick the repair took and got 4 lights installed and back working in under a hour. It is so hard to find honest and decent work these days so I will def be using this company again. Please check them out if you have any electrical repairs that need to be completed or inspected.

James came here attending a very last minute call. He couldn't fix the issue at the day so he didn't charge us for the visit.

The next time around he fixed the issue and even took the time to explain why it was happening and how the previous electricians did a bad job. I already knew they did a bad job, but not the extent of it.

Great company, did excellent work and did it when promised. He obtained the permit from the city of Cedar Park, scheduled PEC to disconnect and reconnected the power and scheduled the inspection when completed. His work was excellent!

Winter freeze of Austin, Texas 2023.

Rain was freezing, trees were splitting and coming down, no one around us had power besides those who had previously installed batteries for solar panels, gassed home generators, or manual portable generators...so attentively there I was attending to my gas/propane generator with a huge grin on my face. This was EXACT situation for why we contracted James at Reese Electric. I did have to do a little review before I started things up cuz it was a while since the last outage, but I was expectantly successful with his easy setup. I dont think I could have messed it up if I tried!

But I did mess up this time! Back track a little, we had a planned trip on Friday of the outage. Its the third day now but our family left the house. With the pressure of time unpowered(cuz I had to unplug), and trusting that the power would turn back on before our return I rushed thd process. 3 days later when we returned and learned it hadn't been restored but knew from neighbors that it was back on Saturday morning. We were freaking out! I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. I immediately called James and also texted Oncor ""out"". James responded immediately and was at our house in 30 minutes. Oncor follwed behind him minutes later which was actually really impressive with the outages and how busy they've been. The support system was so amazing! James identified the issue, fixed within like a minute, Oncor was super supportive and content that we were taken care of...it was just electrical service heaven!!

James had absolutely no hesitation revisiting after his installation a year+ ago which speaks volumes for his confidence, excellent service, attentiveness, skill, and fair wage.

I have an electrician we trust and I love that!
