Reese was great, I was bad. He got in touch with me via email. I'm terrible about looking through my email. I was the one that didn't provide the correct photos, but he kept after me. I didn't get back to him for quite a while. I told him ""I was as sorry as the guy that kicked the Pope"". He did a great job installing the generator. He was careful to explain it to me. The one he installed is one we will use for glamping, so it will keep the fridge and a couple of other things going in an outage. I'm going to get one dedicated to the furnace, and air conditioner, so, yeah, I'll be getting back for that one.

I recently purchased a Tesla and out of no where my delivery date jumped up 3 weeks. So I quickly scrambled to get some quotes on installing the home charger. I was given quotes that ranged up in the 3.5k area that would have me scheduling a shut off with my local utility. I was super heart broken thinking this would take weeks to install. Then the clouds parted when I got a message back from James. He asked for some pictures of my breaker box and the area I wanted to install it. Then I was shocked when he gave me a quote of 650 and could be there Friday. He was on time and went over everything to confirm the details. He walked me through my breaker box and showed me the best place to put the charger. A couple hours later and I was testing it out. Absolutely flawless work. I then asked if he could give me a list of things I should/need to do as in maintenance or concerns etc. he walked me through details on how there are no more slots left on my breaker box but there isn't a need to upgrade it yet unless I wanted to put in a hot tub or a generator etc. I jotted down my notes and was grateful when he said to plan to do it in the cooler months so the outage doesn't suck to sit through.

All in all I am super happy that I went with a local company and met a real nice guy. The kind of guy that would help your mom out in tough times. I plan on hiring him again in a couple months. Sadly my wife has been talking my ear off about a hot tub lol

James and Jaime did a fantastic job on our electrical rewiring project. We are replacing 4 can lights with a chandelier and they removed the can lights, rewired the electricity, and installed a mounting box for the chandelier. James was responsive, his price was fair, he was prompt and arrived when he said he would and did a great job! I would definitely hire Reese Electric for any electrical job.

Working with James was great. When we moved into our home there was some DIY electrical work installed on the fence and now basically dangling from hangers. After getting the fence repaired we wanted the electrical to be reinstalled and done right. I reached out and after a quick conversation and some photos, he gave me a really fair quote. He wasn't the cheapest but in my experience I've rarely had a good experience with the cheapest. But on the other hand, he was a almost half as much as my most expensive quote.

The work looked fantastic, he was knowledgeable and very friendly.

We got to talking about Texas winters and generators and he let me pick his brain a bit. He ended up recommending a portable system that could keep most of the house running in the event of an extended blackout, most importantly our heating and critical appliances. I ordered the generator and had him back out to install the inlet. He got it all installed nicely and we did a dry run of getting the generator started and using the interlock to bypass main power. He took the time to make sure I understood the ins and outs of the system to keep me and my family safe. Gave me a few tips on how to prep if there is a freeze coming.

Long story short, if there is any electrical work needed by myself or friends, I would absolutely recommend Reese Electric.

I am really impressed with the quality and timeliness of his service. We called for a quote and James was right on top of it, giving me an estimate based on photos sent to him of our panels and desired location for the new Tesla charger. He was also quick to respond to our inquiries about his availability, and we were able to get it done on the day we took delivery of the car. I got several quotes for his job and James was comparable in price to a couple of them and way cheaper than a few who tried to tell me I needed more work done. I will definitely be having this company back to my house for future electric work I have planned. Two thumbs up-- one for not bullshitting me about what my house needed to safely install a charger, and another for being an all around great guy with above and beyond service.

They came out to install a pool table light on a vaulted ceiling where they had to relocate an existing light about six feet. They were super responsive, very nice, and actually checked out another light fixture I had free of charge. I very much recommend them.

Hired James @ Reese Electric to install a Generac 22kw home standby generator. It was top notch professional service every step of the way. He installed a whole-home standby generator and automatic transfer switch. He came up with a clever solution to reorganizing our panels to make use of limited wall space. He got a service outage scheduled quickly when others warned of months-long delays. He was a pleasure to work with and I couldn't recommend him more highly!

Reese Electric is the definition of professional service. I reached out to get a transfer switch installed so I could power my house with an RV generator the next time the Texas grid goes down. James knew exactly what I needed and quoted a very fair price compared to the other quotes I received. Then after the install was complete, he verbally walked me through the process of switching house power to generator power and watched as I followed his instructions, just to make sure I was educated and knew exactly how to use the system. Now I can power all the essentials in our home during a power outage. I wish all service pros provided this level of knowledge, value and dedication.
