I am extremely satisfied with Redwood Electric and the work provided to me with installing a new ceiling fan with no previous fixture in place. They ran new wiring, ceiling plate, and installation of new ceiling fan with complete cleanup afterwards for $200 to $300 less than was quoted by other companies for the same service. They were professional, polite, and respectful, very refreshing, you never know the types that will come to your house nowadays to provide a service. Installation looks and works great! Compare their prices to others and you'll agree with me, and the service is well above others. I use Yelp to research services and I can see why Redwood Electric gets 5 stars!

Highly recommend Jothi & James!! They installed 2 ceiling fans for me today, including running wiring for both rooms. Showed up on time, extremely nice and professional, and got the job done in a matter of a few hours. He also fixed, at no charge, something in a ceiling fan my husband installed;-) Very impressed and will 100% be using them again.

If you could create an electrician to come to your home, that person would probably fit the description of Jothi. Intelligent, honest, kind, knowledgeable, polite and fair. And creative. Jothi is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work and in doing what's best for you. He masterminded how to create an outlet for a microwave that I had tucked inside a kitchen cabinet. He figured out how to run my garbage disposal and new dishwasher from the same junction box. And he also told me that electrical work I thought needed to be done in my laundry room was not necessary. He was recommended to us by the Fighting Amish, a forensic electrical company that focuses on older homes in San Francisco. We are grateful.

Outstanding service! Jothi and James installed an additional outlet in my outside patio along with some additional light fixtures. I was anxious about having the exterior house wall cut into since it's a newly built home but Jothi/James were true professionals. They also hung our patio bistro lights in the back yard area and came up with a qreat solution to hang them! Both of very personable and friendly and Jothi always responded quickly when trying to confirm appointments, etc.. Rates were very responsible! I have comfort knowing I have someone going forward for all my electrical needs. Thanks again Jothi/James!

We needed a EV station installed for our recently leased Chevy Bolt. I called around, leaving messages, and Jothi Param the owner of Redwood Electric, called me right back and met with me later in the day to go over the project. It seemed pretty complicated to me, installing a dedicated 220 line around 100 feet weaving up and down through what I thought were inaccessible areas from our main breaker to our charging station. We planned for the work to be done a few days later . Jothi and his assistant arrived as scheduled and did a fantastic job. We couldn't be more pleased. He was a good communicator, honest and I thought to be pretty reasonable. If any electrical projects arise in the future I will know who to call.

When I think of Jothi and James from Redwood Electric, I honestly get teary-eyed. In the middle of a train wreck of a kitchen renovation (due to our handyman/contractor, not Redwood), Jothi was the ONLY good decision we made for a while. He was incredibly fair in his bid and returned my calls right away. When it came time to actually do the work, Jothi was great about setting up times, showing up ON TIME, and busting his bum off to get the work done. James--his assistant--is clearly just as knowledgable and worked so, so hard.

When each part of our first inspection failed EXCEPT the electrical, I about kissed Jothi and James' feet. And from there, they have continued to handle every issue that came our way, worked well with the variety of people we had on board to fix all the other issues our renovation faced, and did so SO calmly and professionally. Their work was impeccable, they were 100% honest, and seriously caring towards me and my kids.

Two quick stories to solidify Redwood Electric's greatness: all the original gas plumbing we had done had to be replaced because it wasn't done correctly. Our (new) contractor told us that it was a VERY good thing we had hired such a good electrician because if there had been any sparks in our home then it would have exploded. Seriously. I was so relieved to know that our electrician had our back and everything was done right and safely.

Second story: at one point during the nightmare, we came home to no heat or hot water, without forewarning from our first contractor/handyman. When Jothi heard about that the next day, after a whole day's work he insisted on sticking around to make sure our heat was indeed working so we didn't have to bundle our children up in sleeping bags and blankets like we had the night before. It wasn't even CLOSE to his fault that that situation had happened; but he cared about our well-being and showed us the human decency we didn't get from others to ensure we were OK.

We still have to finish our renovation so the job isn't complete quite yet (it's up to my husband and I now); but I can say with complete ease that I KNOW Redwood Electric was the best decision we made and I will use them each and every time anything else arises.
