I needed a Victorian window that had been painted shut for years opened as it is the only source of air into my bedroom and I couldn't get any handyman to get back to me on this quick job. I finally found Mike on yelp and he got back to me within an hour of receiving my email inquiry, and came over to fix the window the very next day! . He charges by the hour so I wish I'd had more jobs for him to do lined up, but I'll know who to contact next time.

Mike showed up on time to replace an electrical outlet and upon finding the outlet to be faulty, went to the hardware store bought a replacement and got it fixed on the same visit. His charges are exactly as he promotes them...reasonable.

Mike's a great guy, and as the other reviewers have noted, he's fun to work around. Also smart, creative, innovative. He has a can-do attitude. He helped my husband replace light fixtures in our multi-unit building's garage -- a big job made pleasant by his enthusiasm for the task. We'll hire Mike again when (not if) we need a handyman.

I'm updating this (Nov 2015) to add feedback from our second job with Mike. He was just as fantastic as the first time (2013) and remembered the property's details. We will use him again!

When the handyperson that I used to use went back to Australia, I was bereft. I own some property and am constantly in need of having repairs done. I also own a real estate company and my clients count on me for referrals to get work done. I used one handyperson who was okay but not great. And then I met Mike. Wow! He was responsive and sweet on the phone. He showed up on time and was indeed reasonably priced. He did work for a client, took photos and gave an exact accounting of his time and materials used. My client was pleased - it made me look good. And then he came to my house to do a series of jobs that needed done. He was quick, no nonsense, no complaints and cheerful. That's a good combination. I recommend Mike highly.

Great, friendly, fast, reliable. Helped me install a couple of lamps and assemble some furniture and then he took down some ugly, old curtain rods and showed me how to fix my shutters just to be nice and didn't charge me more.
