Shortly after I received my electrical engineering degree from Ferris State University in Michigan, I decided to move to Florida and launch this business. I have been operating this electrical business since 2004. It has been almost two decades, and during this time, we have served over 10,000 happy customers. Our services include electrical wiring installation and repair, natural gas and propane services, and generator installation and repair.
A unique feature of our business is our close-knit approach; various generations work as a team. We hold deep appreciation for one another, and this is evident in how we interact with our customers. Recommended Customer Reviews

Contacted them about my Onana generator for my RV. Some how they determined that the repair deposit, was over $2,000 before they would even look at it. Keep in mind, this is just a deposit. They made this determination, without even looking at my RV.
I would not recommend them to anyone. Some one who wants a deposit in advance is not a professional.

The four stars are for the EMPLOYEES...
After a few glitches and false starts, my generator was finally repaired. First, a carburetor was replaced and after two service calls and finding out that wasn't the problem, the generator was removed and taken in to the shop. The final verdict was determined to be a blown head gasket. The employees that I dealt with, Leslie, and the two repair techs were great. Daniel and Reynaldo worked hard to get the problem resolved.
However, after spending over $4000.00 I feel I should own stock in that company, or at the very least, be nominated for customer of the year! I realize that they are not a ""not for profit"" company, but a couple of relatively cheap parts and maybe 10 hours of labor, really???
If not for the fact that I am leaving on a long planned trip, I would have sought out a less expensive alternative. After reading other reviews I find that the I am not the only one who thinks their prices are outlandish.

Beware of this company. They collect a ""deposit"" before they will give an estimate of the cost of repairs. In my situation, I was aware that the electric motors on my boatlift likely needed replacement due to flooding from Hurricane Ian. After paying a $399 ""deposit"", three men came and told me my motors needed replacement. I asked for a quote to replace them, assuming the deposit would be applied. I have not heard back despite two texts to the owner, Rafael. I have been ripped off but lesson learned by me

I think RCS Electric Company is a GREAT company! The technicians are great at their jobs and the office people are very helpful and get back to you fast. Their prices are very competitive. Go check them out especially for generator installations.

You should definitely steer clear of this incompetent and greedy company. I am totally disgusted with their business practices: charging for unneeded repairs, exorbitant pricing, and lack of expertise in their ""specialize field."" I guess I have to give them 1 star.... should be a zero.
