We have used RC electric on several home projects. One was when they had to move my entire panel box because we were having a pool built and they had to move it to other side of house. But this project Ray and his son did the last two days was upgrade my kitchen switches..adding lighting under my cabinets and added lights to my kitchen ceiling. I had to go work both days they were here, so when I'd get home it was exciting to see his progress. I've referred Ray to many others and will continue to do so. He's so knowledgeable, honest and I love that its a father son team. Thanks Ray! I love my how updated my kitchen looks with the new lights!!

Ray and son Gabriel really take pride in their work. They took their time to make sure everything is done right. Very reasonably priced. Will call them again for my electrical needs.

This post is in response to Adam W's review below. Our HOA has used RC electric for many years and have always been happy with his work. The situation Adam referred to was inaccurately represented. Complaint was the units breaker was tripping and RC came immediately to troubleshoot. He found all HOA equipment working perfectly but to be cautious replaced the breaker for the tenant anyway. Diagnosis was it was the unit's personal electric hot water heater causing the problem due to our hard water deposit damaging the heater elements. Tenant continued to complain and RC actually came out on his own time on Good Friday to check it again. We again told the owner to bring a plumber in to check the hot water heater which they did and that solved the problem. RC went above and beyond to resolve this issue but the tenant refused to listen to any professional advice.
We highly recommend RC electric to anyone searching for an electrician.

The best word to describe this business would be incompetent. The HOA hired Ray to do work on the electrical panels on our 4-unit condo. Don't ask me how, but when he put the panel back together he connected the A-line (my unit) to the B-box and the B-line to the A-box for the water heaters. No only that, but he also switched our Edison lines so that my neighbor and I ended up being billed for the other units use.
By the way, we had to have a HOA meeting with this guy and Edison because he screwed up so many units.
Mistakes happen and I can work with that, but when they were called out to fix the problem, instead of just switching the lines back to their proper A and B location, he switched the rest of my house over to my neighbor's box and my neighbor's over to mine. All he had to do was put the clearly marked line A into the A box and the clearly marked line B into the B box, hope he didn't charge for doing extra work that was not needed to fix his own mistake.
Now after Ray switched my box, the entire unit trips the Edison breaker. Ray's response, ""must be a bad filament in your water heater, leave it off over the Easter Holiday weekend and that will let us know if the water heater is the problem"". FYI - the water heater is 1 year old and never had a problem until Ray started plugging electrical lines back into the wrong place.
So instead of fixing the problem, he made an excuse and had me sit all Easter weekend without hot water, just to verify he messed everything up.
Luckily I rent and will have the rental management company step in for me, good luck if you are a home owner.

Beyond impressed! Ray shows up on time, has 35 years of experience & leaves a clean workspace. All this for a far price.

Ray from RC Electronic was wonderful to work with regarding our electrical issues. I left him VM and he returned my call within the hour. He arrived on time, explained each step of what he was doing and was friendly and knowledgeable about his job.
Thank you Ray and if I have any additional needs for an electrician you will be the first person I call.

Ray and his son has been doing work wiring our new addition for a week now. Wow what a long hard job they do. Lots and lots of wire needed. Thank you both for all your work you have done
My husband said he is s artist and takes a lot of pride in his work super great job

Ray installed new recessed lighting in my kitchen. He arrived on time and finished the job ahead of time. He was polite, professional, and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend Ray to anyone who is looking for an electrician. Ray also provided me with a super referral for a painter who did the finishing work for this lighting project. Keep up the good work, Ray!

Ray is honest and dependable, which is what you always want from any contractor. He's done a few things for us including modifying and adding circuits for various rooms, installing recessed lights, running cables through my attic, and putting in an EV charging station. He always does a nice, clean job and certainly knows his trade. He is friendly, hard-working, and professional. We highly recommend him for all your electrical needs.

Have repeatedly used Ray's electrical services to swap out our electric panel, bathroom fan, switch on an older model bathroom wall heater, install interior and exterior light fixtures, switches, and exterior outlets. Ray is professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and prompt. He's patient in explaining all your possible options, quick with written estimates, and has fair prices. I highly recommend Ray to my family, friends, or anyone who needs electrical work or repairs. Thanks Ray.
