We hired RB Handyman Services to perform several jobs around our new home in Concord. I left a phone message over the weekend and Rick promptly returned my call on Monday. He set up a walk through for an estimate the following week. We talked through all the jobs I wanted done and made the list in order of importance. He was super thorough and explained, in detail, all the work that needed to be done on each, along with the cost. We decided to tackle the bigger jobs first and he set up an appointment for Danny to come out the next week to get started. Danny and his coworker did a great job hanging a pot rack in our kitchen, repairing & painting the wall, installing Sheetrock fire tape in the garage, installing spring loaded hinges at our garage door, removing & replacing our attic door, removing water heater to install a pan & pipe to the outside and then re-installing it, correct a vent in our bathroom and then re-painting around it. They did SUCH a good job, I am having them come back to replace our sliding glass door in a few weeks. Super pleasant people - very easy to work with and so nice!

Have dealt with several contractors in the past, but something wowed me with this outfit. With the expert diagnostics and workmanship of their working team, finished the entire job in little over a week. Frank as Field Supvr. was excellent, Danny and Rob that actually did the work were amazingly always on time and worked without leaving any debris after completion. They were very professional and these days that fewer and fewer are true handymen, I am already preparing a list to have RB Services come back to do for our residence here in Pleasant Hill. They are the best in the business!

I got an estimate for drywall services that would take two days to complete. They wanted 3000.00 dollars up front and 400.00 when the job was complete. Anyone that knows the rights for contracted services, I told the Frank the person who gave me the estimate that asking for that much up front was RIDICULOUS and against the Law! He defended his right or the company's right to ask me for almost 90 percent upfront. I informed him that the California State Licensing Board tells all consumers. NEVER PAY MORE THAN 10 percent or 1000 dollars up front. Whichever is less. Be cautious when hiring anyone who asks for that much up front to start! You can or may be left with no work done and your money gone! I did not hire them!

Had an issue with the sliding door and the special order latch. I emailed him and followed his advice where to get the part ( ashby lumber). Helpful guy. Definitely will check him out for the future

When our pool company tore down our fence to dig our pool, we were told that we needed to find our own fencing company to rebuild it. We tried everyone and it just wasn't a big enough job for a typical fencing company. That's when we found RB Handyman Services. The owner came out the next day and gave me a quote and scheduled the job. I want to thank Rick for being so professional and making sure that all the highest quality materials were used and I want to thank Guillermo for flat out working his butt off. He made sure every detail was perfect and even ran to get a better latch when he felt the one he had originally bought wasn't up to his standards. Just an all around great job and I will surely be calling them for all future jobs :-)

I met with Rick to discuss my ""honey-do-list"". He was very knowledgeable and recommended additional preventive maintenance jobs as well as advising what jobs really weren't worth fixing. The work was scheduled over 2 days. The crew, Danny and Matt arrived early and worked well together and completed the work within the original time frame of 2 days. They were very communicative and checked with me often if there was an question. (ex. which side did I want the kitchen faucet handle on). They were friendly and polite.
