Just talked to a woman from Rayco I can only describe as rude and snotty and apparently trying to scare away any new customers. She claimed they couldn't possibly do an estimate without plans on the house, which she first pitched at me as if I had to run down to City Hall now just to get an estimate. Yeah, um then she just looked it up on the property records site like I suggested. Then she said they weren't responsible for holes in the drywall, even though what I was asking for was a replacement of existing outlets in fixtures. So what are you saying? A goon squad is going to show up with sledge hammers and wreck my house and you are not responsible? It was such an odd needlessly hostile and confrontational tone from the person answering the phone. I can only imagine they must get a lot of complaints about workers leaving a mess for them to just say they aren't responsible on an initial phone call to get an estimate. Also the ""$145 an hour, plus the cost of wire and wire is very expensive' in a tone as if I was some type of grifter incapable of paying for work or whatever her weird confrontatational attitude was about. Nevermind, lady. There are 20 other electricians I can be calling. This place needs a new receptionist. The one they have now is costing them business.

Racist woman on the phone was very rude and made fun of my accent. She didn't apologize when I was offended and said ""that's how you feel"". Sorry it happens when you speak 4 languages.

Just had 6 ceiling fans and 4 light fixtures installed and wanted you to know what a great employee you have in Russell. He was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Was a little reluctant when told we had to pay by the hour but Russell was done in no time at all. Will definitely use Rayco again.

We called Rayco after getting an estimate from Mr. Sparky for $3690. Rayco did an excellent job for $393 . Call them not Mr. Sparky .

Avoid Rayco at all costs, there are plenty of better companies to deal with. Honesty, integrity and quality are not something this company knows anything about. Not to mention they are way overpriced, at $145/hr for what they pay their employees $10/hr.
