If you are looking for a licensed electrician that does fantastic work at a reasonable price, look no farther than RAW Electric (Ready Able and Willing). Jim (owner) does all of the service work himself and his work is top notch. My need was quite simple, take down current light fixture and install a ceiling fan. Arrived on time (actually a little early) and performed the install without issue. I have saved his contact information, if I have a need for a electrician again, RAW electric will be the first one I call.

I cannot say enough about this company and more specifically, Teri.
I heard that sparks were emitting from the electrical panel at my rental property. Teri contacted the city on my behalf to shut off power and continued to text me throughout the process. As it turned out it was not the electrical panel, but some overhead trees that were touching power lines. The city remedied the situation, but it was Teri who monitored the situation until all was resolved.
I will use RAW Electric for any electrical issues!

Jim and Terry are extraordinary people who really care. They are the quintessential small business that I do my best to support and that we have lost too many of in America. Terry was so great when I called with a problem with my dishwasher switch in my electric panel. She gave me a great estimate after getting the specific information she needed from me and explained everything in a way that I could understand. We were absolutely impressed with Raw Electric! Not only did Jim know his business and fix our lighting problems in our kitchen, he taught us a lot about how to save electricity. He took the time to explain and demonstrated how to replace our old ceiling lights for newer LED recessed lighting. Plus encouraged how easy it is for us to do and not pay an electrician! That being said, Jim has a great personality and is very enjoyable to visit with. Honest, reliable l, local, and reasonable rate! He is our go to electrician.

Long overdue review! Jim fixed all our electrical issues from our home inspection report. It was a very big job that included going in our hot attic during the summer! Like I stated before, we hired this company again! You know how you remember an prior experience and then you go back a year later and it isn't quite how you imagined? Well, you won't find that with this group. We called Teri on Tuesday regarding our back patio light. The home builder had installed a flushed can light which we had issues with flickering and struggled to change the bulb when it went out. We had called the builder and were told ""yeah, there have been multiple complaints about that. Other homeowners have changed it out."" (This was prior to being in our newly built home for less than a year.)

Teri got us booked that same week, even recalled the service area we were in, and explained the service technician would call us prior to arrival. Thursday morning, 15 minutes prior to our appointment, I received a call. Jim was in our neighborhood and would be here shortly. Jim arrived and greeted us like old friends. His customer service was nothing less than exceptional! He reviewed our issues, made some recommendations, installed the fixture we selected, and was finished with the area looking as if no repairs even took place in less than an hour.

I will ONLY hire this group for any electrical service work, based off my experiences. They value their customers and it shows! The work meets all expectations, and their service is fast, friendly, and affordable. For this Texan, there is only one choice and it's RAW Electric.

RAW Electric is a great find. Jim has many mnay years as an electician and has run his own company now for several years. He does all his own work--just what I wanted-- a very experienced, honest, craftsman who cares. The business is BBB Accredited and has excellent reviews. I was having trouble with a fan; he came over and fixed it quickly. His fee was very reasonable. He also helped me with advice my kitchen lighting--I have been trying to convert to energy saving bulbs but was confused withthe options. He told me the best way to do it, and was very specific about the Light ""colro"" levels. I took his advice and did what he said. Our kitchen looks GREAT--and with low power consumptionand no heat! And I now can go about changing the other bulbs in the house with confidence that I know what to buy. Really nice guy, Very Very knowledgeable and very very helpful He is now MY electrician. I don't think I have ever worked with a more professional company! Jim and Teri are phenomenal! First of all, the communication is fantastic....secondly, Jim has got to be the most knowledgeable person I know in electrical and lighting. He gave us a great education on lighting and laid out our kitchen lighting beautifully. The great thing is you can't even tell he was ever there. He came in did the job cleaned up fantastic and left us a beautiful kitchen with the hanging light and canned lighting as well. Jim and Teri thank you so much for everything you do. I will definitely be recommending you to anyone that needs electrical work! Good to find a company who has that old fashion way still in putting your customers first and extending excellent customer service!
