During a time of critical need after the ice storms (Feb, 2021) Juan answered the phone when many wouldn't, and even showed up that same day to estimate a demolition project. I got the sense from the beginning that Juan would treat my home as his own, and over the next couple weeks he demonstrated his commitment to perform a well-thought-out, thorough and effective remediation. His team worked with urgency and was flexible, working around movers and other visitors. Juan is a stand-up guy who delivers on his word and he handled any concerns that I raised promptly and professionally. He pays attention not just to the details of the work but also in communicating with you to make sure you're informed and comfortable with the progress and the recommendations being proposed. You have a partner in Juan.

I hired Juan to remodel a home I had just purchased (re-siding the exterior, remove popcorn ceilings, repaint the entire interior, plus some small electrical and plumbing fixes). One of the reasons I hired him was that he seemed to have a good eye for detail. I gave him a deadline of six weeks, which I thought was very reasonable for the amount of work, and he agreed, saying he'd likely be done early. The exterior was re-sided quickly, and doesn't look amazing, but not horrible either. However, the inside progress was very slow, and the work was very sloppy. Juan told me many times that he would be done ""tomorrow"" or ""by the end of the week"", but three weeks past the original deadline, there was still no end in sight, so I gave him a couple more days, and told him after that I would not be paying him for the work left uncompleted. I also gave him a list of all the items that were still uncompleted or needed repairing. The day of the final deadline, there were still many items not completed or done poorly (patches on almost every wall in the house with primer/original color showing through, entire closets left unpainted, a window that was broken during the exterior work still unreplaced even though I'd been reminding him about it for over a month, some of the electrical items just not done at all). I was frustrated, but deducted what I thought was a fair price for the work that still needed doing. However, when had other painting companies come give quotes on fixing the paint job, all three companies informed me that the paint Juan used on all the baseboards, trim, windowsills, and doors was latex paint painted on top of the existing oil-based paint - because of the paint difference, the new paint was not properly adhered to the existing paint, and could be scratched off with your fingernail. To fix it, the new paint needed to be sanded off, and then everything repainted with oil-based paint. Since this was a major problem I was not aware of before (the quotes for this item alone were ~$5000), I contacted Juan again, asking for a reimbursement for this issue. He refused, giving a number of weak excuses, and then stopped responding to my calls and emails. Because of all this, I'm out a significant chunk of money, and had a very rushed move due to all the delays. I strongly recommend finding another company for home repairs/remodels.

We been having problems with air conditioner not cooling. I made a call and Juan came out the very next day. Very professional and kind got air conditioner fixed and cooling.
Thank you for the great service.
